Great app. Can control what I need to on the go and makes it easy to find problems.
Great app, initial setup difficult
When you, like me, have your own local UniFi controller that is not cloud synced, the app can be a bit difficult to set up.
1. Make sure it has access to the local network
2. Start the app
3. At the bottom of the screen, press “Missing a Device?”
4. At the bottom of the screen, press “Manual Setup”
5. Now you can enter the hostname, username and password, and optionally a display name
Hope this helps someone!
Standalone setup doesn’t work
The phone can’t connect to the hidden SSID after scanning the QR code. I’ve tried two different APs multiple times.
