轻新课堂包括老师端、学生端及管理端三个角色，老师登录时点击上课按钮，即可进入授课中，老师可以通过应用和学生进行互动的测验，答题。系统自动统计测验和答题的结果。老师可以查看以往测试的历史记录，老师还可以利用发题按钮进行口头发题，实现方便快捷的巩固知识点。老师在课下，还可以查看学校的通知，查看学校的社团，和学生进行沟通交流。老师还可以发预习，发作业让学生课下完成，还可以获取到学生发的作品，学业展示等。老师课下还可以回看某一节的视频，上课期间还可以对某个学生进行评价。学生登录时学生通过轻新课堂，可以获得学校的专属的课表，能知道自己在什么时候，哪间教室，上哪个老师的课程。学生还可以通过拍照，语音，文字来发布笔记，学生之间还可以互动看到同学的笔记。学生能够通过通知，公众号等功能，即时获得学校的通知，社团的活动消息等。管理员登录时学校领导可以通过轻新课堂，可随时看到学校的正在上课的教室的视音频直播画面。领导可以通过移动端直接对授课老师进行评价，可以填写听课记录。如果领导错过了看直播，还可以通过回放看老师的授课视频。领导看回放的时候，也可以进行评价。
