MICK (Mobile Interactive Cognitive Kit) is a platform for administering vision-based cognitive assessments. The MICK app is a tablet-based tool for the administration of two rapid automatized naming tasks. These include the Mobile Universal Lexicon Evaluation System, MULES, a test of picture naming, and the Staggered Uneven Number test, SUN, a test of number naming. First run a baseline assessment in order to establish reading times under ordinary conditions. Then as appropriate run assessments to determine whether reading times are longer or shorter than baseline. The MULES and SUN cards displayed in the MICK app are based on the MULES and SUN tests developed by the NYU Langone Concussion Center and used by permission.
