Description
Nagarik App (translation: Citizen App) is a mobile application launched by the Government of Nepal to provide government-related services in a single online platform. The app was developed to facilitate an easier, systematic, and simplified delivery of government services to Nepali citizens digitally. The app was launched to play a pivotal role in revolutionizing the way citizens interact with the government. It offers a wide spectrum of government services through a single unified platform, minimizing the need for citizens to navigate multiple channels or physical offices for their diverse needs of government services. The services are added gradually according to the needs and services required. The government aims to reduce the physical queues and the need to be physically present to get services from the different government offices and promote digital transactions. One can get services online round-the-clock even during holidays. As of now, 25 services are included in the app, ranging from Police Clearance Report to Voters Card.

Display and text issue
hey, I have noticed the one issue is with the text size. I don’t have any idea this is only happening only with me or other’s also facing this. The app follows the phone’s system display settings, so if I increase the font size or display scaling in phone setting, the text and layout inside the app also become larger, and mixed matched the all text and layout. if you kept the setting text in small or normal the nid,passport are good how ever if you kept the text in larger the the nid and other document will be up and down and cant figure out properly. Sorry hope you fixed it out.
About license feature
Why the license feature has to be remove from this app ? I haven’t got a smart card driving license and the tax voucher paper has been lost also. It’s very difficult to travel for me because of license feature removal. Is there any issue why it has been removed ? It has become very easy for me while traveling but now it’s very difficult. So, if any problem has occurred due to license feature please solve it fast and return this feature.
Vehicle and Property Tax payment options
The app is one of a kind and as a matter of fact, very advanced IT progress in itself compared to other sectors of Nepal.
My only suggestion currently is the requirement of incorporation of Land/Property and Vehicle Tax check/payment features along with Electricity and Drinking water bills status/payments which i am pretty sure are all, already thought of. All the best for a digitalized and advanced Nepal and Happy Nepalese!
