Awesome books and great service
I have been a member for 1 year now and I absolutely love this app! I had to pause my membership for a few months due to a personal change and there was no problem with cancelling my membership. I could listen to my purchased books when I wasn’t a member as my account was still available, which was very nice. And When I restarted I could access the free monthly books I received during my membership, so that was wonderful! There where no questions asked, just back to where I left off. Perfect!
One of my favourite books to listen to is ‘Here and Now’ by Santa Montefiero. The narrator is brilliant and the story very touching. But there are many more books available in the app. There is even a service that helps you pick the perfect match for you!
I absolutely recommend this app.
Great Service
I recently signed up to this platform, and have downloaded They Just Seem a Little Weird as I am a big fan of old school rock. They have a good sized catalogue of books to purchase with your monthly credit and also an impressive free library featuring many classics. Interface is easy to use. The only negative thing I’d say is the VIP section (curated books of which members can choose 1 a month in addition to their main credit), is a little small.
Overall I’d recommend this.
Amazing range
Great range of audiobooks! I love the narration of Narcissus and Goldmund by Hermann Hesse. I have COVID at the moment and am finding it really hard to concentrate on passages and audiobooks are the perfect fix!
I just have 2 issues:
1) The UI.. It’s outdated and hard to navigate + some of the features don’t work. (Eg the list feature doesn’t save the items you’ve selected)
2) the lack of clarity in the subscription details. I’m not entirely sure when my free trail ends, nor the date of my recurring payment - part of that is due to the UI leaving something to be desired.
All in all I would recommend if you’re not a technophobe. The vast rage of titles makes up for all flaws.
