We booked this Riad based on the reviews from Trip Advisor and it didn’t disappoint. It is tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the Medina and was a quiet sanctuary to come back to after a busy day out. Lahcen and Moha were excellent hosts - they made us feel so welcome and couldn’t do enough to help us. They organised taxis, a day trip to Imlil waterfall and a magnificent 3 day trip to the Sahara which will although was a long drive was definitely worth it and was magical. The food at the Riad was delicious and fresh and I am now addicted to Morrocan mint tea! The rooms are spacious and decorated in beautiful, traditional Moroccan style. The bed was super-firm (which we liked) and the bathroom ornate. The roof terrace is delightful and quiet and lovely for meals, drinks at sunset or relaxing with a book. We stayed for 7 nights and were very sad to leave but hopefully one day we will get to return. I would highly recommend the Riad Dar Nadwa.

We totally loved this property, if you have issues with walking up stairs this is not suitable for you. However, 9 of us (7 adults 2 children aged 2 & 5) arrived. Host Flavio was awaiting for our arrival he checked us in gave us a run down of the property & assured us if we needed anything to message him. WiFi connection was perfect throughout the whole property most times, some blackout spots but it would come too within 30sec to 1min. Property has a sense of clean & fresh feeling to walk through, rooms are very spacious. Kitchen is not the biggest but with having an amazing tasty Italian restaurant just below you, we didn’t cook much apart from breakfast. Very central to supermarket that is a max of 5min walk, bus stop outside your door step. What a start to our trip to be greeted so warmly. They were very busy with a big group arrive just before us but she handled it with ease. So helpful and friendly. Pool was great for the 3 boys aged 11, 9, 6. Bonus was the bus in easy walking distance. Along with the breakfast venues and dinner options in close proximity. Made our family ventures out very easy with very few complaints by the children. As for beds comfy, hot water with pressure. Yes bathroom/shower curtain etc are small but all comfortable and yes some things need up dating but for the price you really cannot complain. The service, cleaning and all staff were genuine, friendly, helpful and super accommodating. A big thumbs up from our family.
