Access bp’s newest EV charging network with the bp EV app, with a variety of destinations being rolled out in New Zealand.
With the help of our bp charge app you’ll be able to find your nearest bp charge location, check availability, charge your EV and pay securely.
With our app you’ll also be able to:
• Search and access our public charge points across New Zealand
• Use our live availability map to filter by connector type, charger speed and whether a charger is free for you to use.
• Choose from a range of digital payment methods (VISA, Mastercard, Paypal, Apple Pay)
• Start and stop charges from your phone, and view the charging progress
• See notifications (SMS or push), for when your charge is completed
• See your charging session history
• Save your favorites when you’re on the go
• Access our 24/7 customer care line

We're constantly working to make our app better for you.
This update includes small bug fixes and improvements to ensure a more stable and seamless experience.
Thos changes include accessibility updates, UX improvements, and an important fix to the FaceID not working on certain devices. We have also added extra information around the hours of operations for our sites, and whether or not each site is trailer friendly.

Charging easy-as with app and Apple Pay
No queue, fast, super-easy instructions. Everything works smooth🥳. My BYD Dolphin lit up with #2 plug. From 38%…waited less than 15 minutes to get to 80% charge! I wish all of NZ could have more of this infrastructure in place so I could travel with ease!

BP Charger Taihape
Crazy it does not have a credit card reader. I had to put my full details three times unplugging the car from the charger each time. When it worked it charged at a good 60+ kWh as no one else using .
Information on phone app poor as does not was % of car battery charged or car batteries kWh charged or needing until full so you don’t now how much more it needs when viewed from the app. ChargeNet app info far more comforting and reassuring during the charge process. This experience means I will only use BP charges when I have to unless this is not the normal charges they use .

What you get is what you are invoiced
I used a Z charger they charge $50 even though you use $6 of power. Haven’t seen a refund yet. Bo is the best if you use $6 they charge your card $6 well done Bp. Never us Z they are stuck in the past with their e-commerce
