Description
Drive Go is New Zealand’s only official app that will help you learn to drive a car. It uses the latest smartphone technology to help you learn the driving skills needed to pass your restricted test and be a good driver.
If you don’t have your learner licence yet, visit www.drive.govt.nz for everything you need to get your learner licence, including free practice tests.

A very good app but always have trouble syncing driving data
It is very helpful for learning the skills and keeping track of where you’re at in your learning. However, whenever I have a driving session that’s 1 hour or longer, it takes a really long time to sync the data, sometimes it even loses that data if I don’t keep checking in on it, which is a bit annoying. I’ve lost quite a few sessions like that after a lesson with my instructor.

Good app for learning skills
This was great to figure out where to start teaching our kids to drive. The smart technology to recognise where we had traveled was great when it came to tracking their progress. Unfortunately longer drives to a long time to sync (days) and often did not sync at all, meaning some longer drives across country were never recorded. We probably lost 10-20 hours of driving practice with the sync issue which was a real shame. We got to the point where it wasn’t worth using the app for bigger drives. This also seemed to be an issue a few years ago so not much development in relation to this particular issue. For shorter lessons and working on a few skills at a time this app is great.
Useful app but no sounds in all the videos from my app.
I found it very useful. However, I can figure it out why all the videos in my app don’t have any sounds. Please help.
