Dunedin Taxis is the taxi booking app for the Dunedin area (including Mosgiel), and service to and from Dunedin airport.

Now you can easily book a taxi based on your current GPS location or by entering in your pick up details.

Dunedin Taxis then locates the closest taxi to ensure prompt service. Using our live tracking feature you can watch your taxi arrive and receive a text message to your cell phone when your taxi is close to arrival.
You can also schedule future pick ups from any location. So you can book a taxi to take you to the airport tomorrow morning or into the Octagon this weekend. Choose from recent locations used or save your own favourites (i.e. home, work, airport, library, etc.)

No feedback when taxi on its way

I booked a taxi to pick up. There was no indication whether the booking had been accepted or indeed whether a taxi was on its way. After 20 minutes I gave up and cancelled the booking. The app is almost there just needs to provide confirmation that taxi is on its way and maybe an eta.

Can't cancel a booking

Overall the app is pretty good but it lacks the ability to cancel a booking on the rare occasion a taxi can't befound in a timely manner. If that was added I would give this app a higher rating.
