Description
Access and organise your files no matter where they’re located — on your device, in the cloud, on an external drive or file server— with Files. The Recent view displays the files you’ve been working on lately in high-resolution thumbnails. Use the powerful Browse view to navigate folders, organise your files with tags, move files between folders, and search. Files also makes it easy to access iCloud Drive and third-party cloud storage services such as Dropbox, Box and OneDrive.

• Press the Files icon in the Dock or Home screen to quickly open a file from anywhere
• Connect an external drive or SD card to your device to access the files
• Connect to a file server at work or a home PC using SMB from Files.
• Use tags to organise files stored with different cloud providers and across different apps.
• Pin your favourite folders in Browse view for quick access to the ones you use most.
• Give people access to any file stored in iCloud Drive by sharing a link from the Files app.
• Drag and drop to select files and organise them into folders.

It blocks the bottom of the page with its pen selection and theres nothing you can do about it except zoom out and then you cant even write neatly
Horrendous….Look elsewhere
Many will use this service as it comes with iphones and ipads etc. 5gb is the free limit which if you are syncing photos it will fill up fast!!! However i find that it will never sync correctly across my devices. Uploading a file from the ipad to the icloud is fine but that file will not show on my iphone (yes its the same account!) I have to switch icloud off and on to get it to sync which is just annoying BUT if i upload a file from my iphone to the icloud this will show on the ipad?. Apple has NO support for these problems either and there are lots of people with the same problem. A cloud account should never do this. Look for another cloud service!
Ok, until you need to share
It works fine in small doses, you can’t even share a folder, or download a whole folder. Wait until you try and share a folder via email or give access to a family member or 3rd party. Hours of wasted time to simply realize the functionality doesn’t work. It’s simply an address to a file. If sharing a large file, it’s better to simply use WeTransfer and send all the data that way. Hopefully this is fixed in the future.
