The Official App of Golf New Zealand – Offers Golf NZ members access to their golfing scores, profile, friends' activity, and relevant golfing notifications.
Golf NZ features:
- Monitor your handicap and scoring history over time. See which scores are counting toward your handicap index.
- View detailed hole-by-hole scoring record for each golfing round
- Follow your friends with peer review of golfing score history

Need to hire a competent developer
Nice idea but they should hire a proper programmer. I suspect he/she is either over 50 or “self-taught”. Mid round I regularly have to log in to continue. Some issue when starting on 10, when you get to the back nine the app complains about everyone’s scores being incorrectly entered. This is a case of almost, but not quite.
Outstanding App
Well done team, what an awesome bit of kit, golf nz is now in the 21st century.
Any chance this app could operate in “flight mode” while we play then turn off flight mode and let the app update / upload scores and signing attesting etc?? Would be a handy feature, no more annoying notifications, emails, texts or calls popping up while we’re playing and entering our scores…

In app bookings a nightmare
Seemingly every time I book through the app there is a hitch or a snag. This last one takes the cake though. I booked a group, paid through the app 9 days in advance, arrive and the bloke says, not paid. I show him the account debit but no. He makes us pay again, a friend thinks I can’t afford it so he pays. Then they charge me again on the day?! I don’t know how! I call DotGolf and “it will take us min. a week to resolve this and too bad we have $269 of your money” never using the app to book a round again. What a debacle!!!
