Description
The Hoover Ranger App allows you to monitor and control your Hoover Ranger robot conveniently from your smartphone or tablet anywhere, anytime. Features include Zone Cleaning to clean specific areas of your home, Virtual Boundaries to prohibit the robot from cleaning in certain areas, and to monitor the cleaning progress through the virtual map of your home.

Works great… until it doesn’t
The interface is nice, it’s easy to use and to learn. HOWEVER it stops recognising my vacuum every couple of weeks. I need to manually add it again which often takes 10-20 minutes and involves disconnecting and reconnecting to wifi, manually entering(!) the wifi name and password, turning the vacuum off and on again, and sometimes even deleting and reinstalling the app. It’s a real pain and immensely frustrating. If the app would just remember my vacuum, it would be great.
Always unlearns my zones
the app is easy to use and works great when it works but it always gets rid of my set zones on the map. it’s very annoying as i go to make the vacuum clean a certain area and i can’t. please fix.
DOESNT work.
When signing up, it’s asks for your country code which you select. Then you enter your phone number and password and press enter and it’ll say ‘input can’t be empty’. The only thing I left empty was the verification code which was never sent to me, no option to resend or anything. Doesn’t work now I can’t use my vacuum cleaner thanks 🤦
