Meh

Have two wifi units in our house. If I could turn back time I probably wouldn’t bother and would have got sensibo units so that my air con can be controlled by Alexa. The app is basic. Asks you to log in often. Doesn’t have the full features of the remote (eg long vane or natural flow). Surely it couldn’t be too hard to open up the API to work with Alexa/Siri/Google. Even CarPlay to set the air con temp at home before you arrive?

Developer Response ,

Hi, Wi-Fi Control is now Amazon Alexa enabled for voice control. Currently for New Zealand users only, visit [http://www.mitsubishi-electric.co.nz/alexa ] for more information. Also sorry to hear you have been asked to log in often, if this is still the case please contact us on: wifi@mitsubishi-electric.co.nz so we can assist.

Good except for one thing

The app is great and very handy to have. I have 2 heat pumps and can turn them on/off and alter temperatures etc.

The downside is the very poorly designed temperature setting slider. It’s hard to get to the temperature you want it at and 9 out of 10 times, as you slide it and lift your finger off, it goes back to what it was set at before. You have to keep doing it until it registers, and even when it does it often is not exactly where you want it, so you have to keep doing it. A plus/minus button would be far easier and simple and would eliminate this bug. It’s extremely frustrating, and if this was fixed the app would be a 5 star.

Developer Response ,

Thanks for you feedback. We had a bug in that version that made the temperature slider very unusable. The latest version would fix this problem. If you are still having this problem please contact one of our team members in New Zealand on: wifi@mitsubishi-electric.co.nz or Australia on: wifisupport@meaust.meap.com

Best Smart Aircon App

The is the best aircon App in the market.
I would like to thank the App developers for the amazing app, Its simple yet it works with no issues. The temp sensor feature when the aircon is off measuring the room temperature is amazing.

I don’t understand how other uses given this app three stars as they seem they don’t know how aircon works.
