A happy new year to everybody. You know our fireworks - but still we'd like to start with a bang: Discotainment 2.0 - the next leap for Discotainment!

Beat stabilizer
It does what it says - and more. It can hold the tempo when there's a short loss of the beat, and it can predict beats.
What does this Voodoo magic do, you ask? Well, it means that effects are now more in time with your beats - because we can compensate the delay when recording via microphone.
This is our new year's present to you - it's automatically there for everybody!
Note: We still recommend Electronic and Pop music with clear bass line for this to work best.
Pulsate effect
A new effect that just looks great - lights alternating brightness with the beat, especially when combined with other effects (more on that right after this). Choose the desired minimum and maximum brightness via slider.
(Available for every Member or w/ 2023 upgrade)
Automatic effect mode
Now we have so many effects - what if I don't want to be stuck at my phone all time?
"Automatic" is the answer - iConnectHue can now play different effects over time, ready with sliders for you to choose how much you want from each one, and how often (in beats) they should happen.
If you set "Pass through" to 0%, you solely use beats for light control, and other disturbances like speech won't have any effect anymore.
This is now available for every Member.
Don't have a Membership yet? Please try it! But even if you don't, our new Disco Scene set lets you use the new effects (without editing capability).

"From Disco to Disco" is our new Disco Scene set, with handcrafted Disco Scenes for every mood and party, and it employs the new possibilities of Discotainment, for everybody.

Great App - Free add-on not free
The Add-on for more devices, offered as free, turned out to be 99c, not a lot I know. not free though
Apart from that - this App is great at programing the Hue Tap switch and the Motion sensor. It gives many levels of settings for each switch, and makes setting and changing the Motion sensor easy.

There's no add on for more devices. All add-ons are listed in the "Additional modules" section in the app. In app purchases are not included in family sharing and have to be done on each device separately.
Lighting that suits everything
I’ve had this app since the beginning and I couldn’t be more pleased. Only ever had a couple of minor issues. Despite there being many apps on the market, this one has so much variety and you can always find what you need. Nearly all my lighting is set using various sunset and sunrise timers and colour changing and dimming modes. I don’t need to touch a thing, my lighting just manages itself all year round. Thank you
App used to work
This app worked great until I recently got the latest hue switch. I’ve now gone in to try and add a simple action to turn on a light and the action won’t add. It only works when adding an action to turn on a group of lights. Very disappointed as I’ll have to revert to the basic settings for the new switch.

We are sorry to hear that you have problems using your new switch with iConnectHue in the manner intended. We are unaware of any problems with new switch models, and assume the problem is specific to your configuration.
Please note that contacting us from within the app by selecting “Contact”-> “I have a problem” is the quickest way for getting help, and also making us aware of potential problems. The rating system is not suited for this, as we don’t get the information necessary with it.
Concerning for your issue:
Please try and reset the switch by using the wizard (wand symbol) located in the top left corner of the switch editor. Now try to add the action again.
When adding a light-switch action, please tap the name of the light or the space right of the name, not the icon, in order to select it. The icon allows you to control the light, so you can double-check if you have the right one selected.
In case this did not help either, please try and remove the switch from the app by entering the devices menu and swiping the switch all the way to the left. After you have done so, add the switch once more, by selecting the “+” in the top right corner of the devices menu and following the on-screen instructions. If the switch is not found, resetting it is necessary. Please refer to the switches manual for instructions.
If you are still unable to add the action after the switch has been added again, please contact us from within the app with details about the switches model and in-app name, so we can have a look into the situation.
