Excellent 10/10 support
interface is good compared to other brokers but for options maybe they can add a setting in the future to swap for a more simple layout or UX friendly design like Robinhood, as right now its harder for me to see what % gain the stock needs to move up to be profitable for options where in Robin Hood it shows it easily.
Hard to navigate
Joined tiger for options trading, as there is limited platforms to chose from in my country for this , the options platform is very hard to navigate & have lost several trades due to the poor layout ie, double orders , stoploss complications etc for instance I placed a double order on the same option without realising as it did not show confirmation & it didn’t show on the order schedule, I got stopped out with the original order I place & it instantly re bought the same order , this time without a stop loss on , i placed a stop loss on the order & it failed to fill even tho it hit the stop then continued to go lower , I had to cancel the stop loss order & manually close the position at an even greater loss ,, there are no detailed tutorials on navigating this apart from basic bug & sell so your on your own on how to learn how the platform works
Tiger Brokers - Worst broker for OTC markets.
First exchange for US markets that I opened and my biggest mistake! I have moved on to other broker/exchange and it has been the best decision. My portfolio in Tiger Brokers is now down 99% due to my risk management and Tiger Brokers very limited features as compared to TD Ameritrade or IBKR. My mistake is to trade small stocks with Tiger Brokers and I cannot even transfer the stocks as TIger Brokers transfer fee is the highest in the market. I have been trying to sell one of my position for 2 years now and everytime the stock is performing good, Tiger Brokers is not permitting the sale as compared to other exchanges. It is a very small exchange that does not cater to day trading. I am very disappointed and again my biggest mistake is to use this product. You are better off staying away from this exchange!
