The service is fine, the app is junk

Using the Ubigi service in Japan worked well - but the app is a piece of rubbish that should be avoided at all costs. Don’t bother downloading it, just use the sign-up process on the website instead. The app itself is incredibly slow, it crashed multiple times through the signup process, it forgets login credentials … it feels like a first-year coding project that someone released into the wild by mistake. Given the Ubigi service is perfectly fine, the app is an unprofessional embarrassment that should be withdrawn until it’s rewritten by competent coders.

It’s legit but it’s a scam?

So i was trying the system today and since them my main carrier keeps sending sms messages saying I don’t have enough credit to send a sms. So apparently this app is trying to use my main carrier to send a sms and the message keeps showing to me no stopping. More than 200 messages already! Is this a scam? I already deleted the app and carrier from my phone and keeps happening! Bug, viruses or what?
