Best game/friend alliance!
SOS is so worth the game play and if you want to spend real money it’s also worth it, why? Not only do you get to build with an alliance, you also make new friends that are willing to work together - “team work makes the dream work”, there’s also an awesome storyline where you get to kill zombies!
Downside for me, however, is not being able to send “gifts” from my backpack that I would love to share with my alliance members (please add this feature KingsGroup Holdings)

Good fun, but watch the PVP events they are a killer.
So luck most games it has it's good and it's bad.
GOOD: nice story even if it has shades of that movie/game group that starts in R city. New hero's added regularly and lots of Player vs Environment events and story to enjoy solo or as a team. You can play F2P however I would suggest the pack with second build queue as around level 20 builds are in days and even with all the time boost packs you get free still takes ages.
BAD: new chat system most players hate, Alliance help message so annoying to list the ones you helped (so not needed).
Kill stage and State Warfare events are Player vs Players, but that just means top 10-20 teams smash everyone unless you have enough shields (8 hours each max and events are 2+ days so can get expensive (alliance or real world $). If you drop shield you get hit and a % of troops you can heal. The % that die cost you time and effort. These events are brutal, so if you are not wanting PVP or can not handle losing troops in the 1000's do not play.
Interesting while learning...gets boring pretty quickly
First up, the game play is nothing like the trailers. Got sucked into that one!
You spend the early parts of the game following instructions...most of the time you don’t quite know what you’re doing. Eventually you work it out.
Game play is very repetitive...basically you complete tasks to earn the currency...biocaps, and resources, needed to upgrade buildings and troops.
Find an active alliance to join, otherwise you will be picked on. Ie others will attack you and steal your resources and kill your troops.
There are various bonus events that alternate week to week, where you an earn more resources to speed up your troops and fighting power.
This game in recent months has moved more towards a pay to play formula, where speeding money on in game resources is becoming necessary just to keep up. Paying players pretty much dominate...they’re the heavy weights with huge fighting strength..no chance for a non paying player.
If you want a war game that does cost, or on limited budget...avoid this game!
Also, iOS players are prone to double charging...and in game support is virtually non existent. No help in sorting things out, and just copy and paste the same response.
In summary....don’t waste your time or money.
