You get much longer viewing time from watching just one add. The 7 ads available for each story each day is awesome. The one annoying thing as with all AI reels is the mispronunciation of names, why give a character a name if it can’t be pronounced correctly every time!

I watched part of a movie and then a pop-up offered me $4.99 for VIP subscription instead of the usual $30 plus a week. When checking my bank account I have discovered for the last month these thieves have taken out over $300. I have never Been able to access their VIP viewing even though they stole money out of my account. DO NOT DOWNLOAD AS THEY ARE SCAMMERS AND THIEVES. You responded to this review saying I must have used another account. I HAVE NEVER SIGNED up FOR ANY ACCOUNTS AND YOU HAVE NOW STOLEN ANOTHER $51 out of my account. Please refund all my money immediately!Now they are offering me 5 weeks viewing instead of refunding my money - tell me how can I view when I don’t even have a VIP account? You just want more money for me to become a VIP member after you have already taken over $300 in 2 weeks which 10 times the weekly amount. THIEVES AND SCAMMERS REFUND MY MONEY NOW!

This app is ridiculous. I haven’t personally lost money to it because the second I saw how the payment system works, I knew I wasn’t putting a cent into it.The whole app feels designed to squeeze as much money as possible out of people’s curiosity. You get hooked into a story, the episodes are incredibly short, then you’re constantly pushed toward coins, ads, subscriptions and more payments just to keep watching.Go and read the other reviews. People are complaining about expensive weekly subscriptions, confusing coin systems, episodes costing large amounts of coins and issues around subscriptions and cancelling. That alone should tell you enough.For what is essentially a collection of very short, low-budget dramas, the amount they expect people to pay is insane. You could subscribe to established streaming services with full-length movies and TV shows for significantly better value.I genuinely don’t understand why anyone would keep handing money over to an app structured like this.My advice: DO NOT spend money on ReelShort. Watch the free content if you really want to, but the second it starts asking you to continuously buy coins or pay expensive subscription fees, close the app.Absolute money grab.

WARNING - Twice now I’ve purchased a weekly subscription through a click through from FB or IG. My bad, I get it. Apparently you have to log in to your account before you purchase. No Warning btw Otherwise you pay to a guest account that you have to bind to your paid app, which if you close out of you, you can’t get back to, so you can’t cancel. They can continue to take money out of your account and the price is exorbitant. Until you complain. There is no warning about binding accounts. When you complain they drag their feet. I genuinely enjoyed using this app. But this experience has left a bad taste in my mouth. I will not be recommending your service until you fix your binding issue. Fyi - this doesn’t happen with any other short movie app. Do better please.
