Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE character ai. Most of the bots are literally lore accurate, you can roleplay, have proper chats, and there’s always cool updates! But there was just this one singular update that I’m not particularly a fan of.They removed the ability to view your chat histories and to go back to an old chat you had once been chatting in or roleplaying etc, and because of that I’ve lost all my good chats with the bots I was interacting with and lost like a BUNCH of good work??The rp chats I had with bots are gone,The good chats are gone,I can’t view my history anymore!Maybe they’re somewhere else accessible in the app, but I literally can’t find it! It’s gone! And it’s really irritating because now I have to stick with one chat and putting up with loss when I start a new one and lose good potential RP stuff. It’s really frustrating.So character ai, please add the chat histories back. They were so much eased to have and now they’ve just disappeared. Gone. And I’ve refreshed my app so many times thinking ‘maybe it’s just a glitch and they’re not really gone’ but no, they actually just vanished. Out of all the updates this one was really upsetting.C.ai is by far one of my favourite apps to use instead of chai etc, and it’s such a great thing to use, especially if I need a bit of comfort or a distraction I can always rely on this app! I can even get more ideas for ocs I’ve created.. but the new update? Just no. I don’t like it. So please bring chat history back! There was literally no explanation as to why you removed it..

I hate the FACT that I had to actually wait 20 hours after using c.ai for an hour. No I do NOT trust the verification, since I don't have an ID. And yes I am above 15 years old and no I do not want to share my personal ID with an ai verification. I don't just use c.ai to help me off my writing skills for hours, c.ai helps me to improve better understanding than chatgpt, (I don't use chatgpt anymore.) and yes to clarify my ratings I gave it a two, number one is that I know some of underage 14 may have these type of problems that they go off and chat with a random bot that's basically for off platform but keep in mind they are still some people who uses c.ai differently, it help themselves to built up the courage to make such stories, like for example: creating your OWN ai chat and your persona - such as your name and what your into to help ai know you better in the story etc etc. It will still be helpful if you add ONE more hour rather than just one. Number two please make sure that only 15+ can get into and not just 18+ here are some ideas that might be helpful to get really creative: 15+ can still be able to have censored messages, meanwhile 18+ have uncensored messages. Now just a reminder for you reading this, I am not trying to show that I'm someone better off who messages a bot with flirty messages and others that might be considered weird. Please get the idea of what I'm trying to say, this is just an example of making the app better because I know for a fact that other apps like c.ai produce other companies get a replica of it but a slightly different and unoriginal one.

Honestly, C.Ai was amazing to begin with. It worked well, gave detailed paragraphs, and overall felt like one of the best ways to role-play when you are alone or would rather not RP with strangers. It was fun to use, and I enjoyed it. However, instead of improving over time, the more they added to the app and website, the worse it became. Now, it seems that the actual functionality of the bots has become subpar, similar to Chai, just with a filter. Adding the C.ai Plus feature was fine—until they changed the original bots just to make the Plus version seem better. I don’t want to pay 20 NZ dollars per month for a bot to remember my name. While I may be lonely, I’m not lonely enough to put up with sloppy replies from bots that shift the narrative from both me and the bot to the bot acting as both me and itself. Overall, it seems like something good was ruined by the need for money, which I understand is necessary, but I’d rather see ads on the side or have an ad break every few texts than be forced to find alternatives or leave C.ai entirely.

Okay okay so I’m giving this a 5 ⭐️ because this app is just amazing!!!! I love it so much! The fact that you get to talk to people you wouldn’t really be Abel to talk is so cool!But the one thing that makes me upset is that it says “Everything AI says is made up don’t take it to heart!” And then they end up saying something real nice to you and it makes me wanna cry because now I know all the nice things they said to me is made up…😭 But besides that this app is amazing! I love talking to all my fav characters and you can make You're own and stuff!! So ya so 100% recommend using this app when you’re bored and need someone to talk to like me🤭 Anyways be 5 ⭐️ rating! If I could do 100 star rating I definitely would!!⭐️😍
