I know this happened a while ago but for some reason I had the older version with my likes/notifications in the normal spot (second tab from right at the bottom) but it’s now changed and yes, I hate it. I don’t understand why you’re just trying to force us to use Instagram like tik tok. I hate tik tok, if I wanted to use tik tok I’d download tik tok. I also already waste too much time on explore which is basically the same as the shop/reels tabs anyway (which I also hate) - so many people have said it so I don’t know why it doesn’t get put back. Yes it’s annoying to tap three buttons every time you want to see a notification, especially if you’re on a different account etc. layout was much simpler before and worked better imo. Also same thing, you can’t even make a post from the bottom tabs? Cmon, isn’t that the main function of Instagram?

I have had instagram for years now. I use it to text everyone I know, share photos etc. But today I opened the app to reply to a message and it tells me my account has been suspended. I don’t understand why as I don’t ever comment on posts, I have never cyber bullied anyone on this account and there is just nothing I have done to warrant getting suspended. I have seen so many videos on instagram of people getting killed, bullied, animal abuse, child abuse, and i’m the one getting my account suspended?Instagram is making me do the left, right, up and down video confirmation thing to show you’re a human and it’s making me send a photo of my ID. I haven’t done anything to get suspended in the first place and the asking for ID and a video of my face just makes me think they are data mining and trying to get a copy of my ID or something cause this doesn’t make any sense. I communicate with everyone through instagram and all of my stories are on there. There are some photos on my highlights of my dead pets from old phones which I can’t access without this instagram account. Instagram, I think you need to get your priorities straight and go after the accounts that show literal brutality and murder cause this is ridiculous. It wouldn't even tell me what my account was suspended for, it only gave me the community terms and conditions. You know why? Because they have no reason to suspend my account.

I have read many reviews from other users who are facing the exact same problem as me and I honestly don’t understand why Instagram is doing this to genuine users. I was simply using my account normally watching reels and doing nothing wrong. Suddenly I received a message saying that my Instagram account had been suspended. There was an appeal option shown so I followed Instagram’s instructions and submitted an appeal I even uploaded my birth certificate as proof exactly as asked After some time when I opened Instagram again to check whether my account had been restored or not I was shocked to see a message saying that Instagram had permanently deleted my account There was no clear reason given no explanation and no further option to appeal That account meant a lot to me. It had many personal memories my photos,highlights, and reels, some of which had thousands of views. Losing all of that without any proper reason was extremely painful After this every time I tried to create a new account it also got suspended within minutes I believe Instagram should not delete or permanently disable accounts without a valid explanation. Not every suspended account belongs to someone who violates rules intentionally. Many real users are getting affected by automated systems with no chance to defend themselves. At the very least Instagram should provide clear reasons proper warnings and a fair human review process.I sincerely request Instagram to look into this issue and stop deleting genuine users accounts without reason. Please improve your system and help users who are facing this problem unfairly.

I really like this app. I’m a current user but it doesn’t work properly the most of the time and that’s really annoying and sometimes just doesn’t really give you me motivation to work on it. When I need to do double intro and leave a blank space it doesn’t work so I have to put a dot in that blank space but it doesn’t always works. It’s quite random in that aspect. I can’t see the notification until I leave the app. I have to close it to actually know what’s going on. When I’m posting a video I can’t see the likes, just the views and that’s not the same. Sometimes the post doesn’t work properly and it post a white picture, I can’t change it, I have to delete and publish again. When I do a draft of something that I’ll post later I loose the edit that I did over the images. If my post have an error I can’t see why is that for and I can’t copy the text so I can use it again and edit again the images. I have to do it all again. Guys this app is a great idea and it’s one of the most popular ones. Please, this are beginner mistakes. Your app is fantastic and I hope that this just help to make it user experience even better.
