We pay a fair price for the league pass and the quality is terrible. We know we do not have an internet issue because all other streaming platforms we use have no issues at all. I tried to log a ticket but the support page doesn’t allow me to complete the request form! Instead of buffering every 2mins why can’t you allow us to download the entire game within the app, this would reduce all the complaints from myself and others about the quality. If you’re not going to fix it reduce your price or get rid of Microsoft and find someone who can provide a proper customer experience.

First off, the video quality is very poor. I can easily stream in high definition from other platforms, but NBA is always buffering and quitting during important moments of the game. You get a better user experience from illegally streaming games than paying for league pass. In years gone by, during game breaks, you had access to the view of the in arena cameras and the jumbotron, so you could really feel like you were at the game. Now they just show a screen with “game break”, or give you un-skippable ads that you have to pay an extra $100 to remove. Then, most annoying of all - they have removed the ability to cast. The chrome cast button still shows, but instead of showing available devices, it asks you to enter a pin. You enter the pin and it does nothing. Why are they constantly doing everything to make their service worse? It is so frustrating. If it aint broke dont fix it. Oh and the customer service team does absolutely nothing to help resolve the issues. They take forever to respond, and when they do its just useless information copy pasted from a script. Do better NBA. If you want to appeal to the younger generation you need to fix your hopeless app. And that doesnt mean making it a garbage TikTok clone.

The layout and different features offered from the league pass within the app are great. Although, this is the expectation for the high price-point. For example, being able to switch between team commentaries and see real time stats is awesome. Unfortunately… you can’t get through 5 minutes of using these features without finding a problem. The number of frequent glitches in the app ruins the enjoyment of using these features especially for a paid service. The constant frustration of the video freezing on a black screen after watching 30 seconds of a game is ridiculous - especially when casting to the TV and have to refresh the app on my phone for it to work. There are times where I’ve been logged into league pass and the app is saying I don’t have access to games and need to buy league pass…Other issues include:- Games not showing up when they are live- Slow loading times and poor quality streams- Just randomly pausing while I’m watching- Stats not updating in line with the timing of the gameAnd these are not issues with the instalment or internet connection - all of my friends have the same issues.For a billion dollar league and charging $150+ for league pass, these issues are completely below the standard of modern day streaming networks. This isn’t anything new either, the app has been terrible from a user experience perspective for years.
