I’ve had a positive experience using Seek throughout my job search. The platform is straightforward to navigate, with a wide range of opportunities across different industries and experience levels. I especially appreciate the search filters, which make it easy to find roles that match my skills, location, and career goals. The application process is simple, and having access to company information and job details helps me make informed decisions before applying. Seek has been a valuable tool in connecting me with employers and exploring new career opportunities.I would recommend Seek to anyone looking for a reliable and user-friendly job search platform in New Zealand and Australia.

I am finding the job recommendations to be utterly useless. I have nearly obtained two degrees. It won’t give me any jobs I am trained for. I am getting a lot of administration jobs, plenty of nursing jobs, doctor jobs, dentist jobs, physiotherapy, even a fencing job today. Nothing I have ever done. And I would need a degree to work most of these. I don’t have a medical degree! I think they frown on people pretending to be doctors. Worst of all, I can’t even delete recommendations from the app, nor say why they are unsuitable. I sent a message to support, was told to save the jobs I do like and that will improve my recommendations. But I haven’t had any suitable jobs in several months since I downloaded the app, even though I extended my saved search to NZ wide to hopefully bring up remote jobs, which don’t seem to exist on your app. There’s no way to search for them anyway that I can find. I have a search to find IT jobs with keyword “remote” like support said, but that just brings up admin jobs, customer service and probation officer. None of which I am trained in.For the next job feature I must choose a single tiny subset of the area I want to work in. I don’t want to narrow my search so much. That seems very foolish. I am trained in many areas of IT and I have a medical background, I can’t even select medical IT as an area of interest. There’s not even the option to select more than one area of interest, and no option for remote work, I must select only geographic regions. And as for verifying my ID or my driver’s license etc, it lets me start the process, then suddenly tells me I need a document issued in Australia. I’m not Australian. It is still reminding me I need to complete verification. I can’t cancel it or delete it.

Use to be sent notifications regularly from this app Which were of interest by comparison to that of the job of which I already have But after finally deciding to make an enquiry in particular about something similar to that of which I am currently doing at this time Found the software on my device were no longer compatible or upgradable to that of which this app is now running Seems kind of ironic really for perhaps someone that may be of a most suitable fit or match for such a potential application role being discarded just because they don’t have the latest software upgrade or model phone to be eligible How about those wanting to re enter back into the work force so to speak due to maternity leave as a prime example , Being overlooked or non eligible from the very beginning due to the fact that they either can’t afford or don’t have a compatible updated device to use just to be eligible to lodge an application to begin with Not everything should revolve around or be based on having the latest software upgrades or devicesSeems a shame how nothing these much previously as well as still to date is reverse compatible which initially ends up being moth balled not long after Which is extremely wasteful from those whom society tends to aspire to as being the leaders of the forefront of global economic growth Whom’s only result has been the main contributor to backward insane global warming to maximise there own personal gain toward maximising corporate global profits across the board Anyways Basically as a result have since unsubscribed as to this site

Most jobs are relevant to me - it cuts down a lot of the faff that might show up on a different competitor, say LinkedIn, that wants you to get work so badly it doesn’t matter whether it’s scrubbing toilets or training pilots.Great App, the “new” tab for saved searches is fantastic. If there’s no new jobs since I last looked, it’s blank, which is exactly what it should be. All recruiters and hirers seem to be on here, so you won’t miss anything.
