Ok to use ….but

I used this for the first time today. Having gone through the process of adding app and signing up last week and not being able to add it to Klarna widget or my wallet, I didn’t have high hopes. I opened the app and scanned the card - it did not work while the checkout operator was still scanning items, so I waited until she had finished. I was keen to get the coupon to give to my son, but it is linked to my card and not a physical fuel discount receipt so I can not pass it on. It’ll probably be ok once they have some things ironed out, but at the moment it was annoying.

Easy to switch over

There are several reviews on here that talk about the challenges with switching to the new app. My experience was pretty straightforward. I forgot to migrate over - even though I got all the email reminders. I went into the supermarket and realised my New World app wouldn’t work but tried it anyway. It asked me to log in (so one additional step). I did this and the Club+ app was working within the old New World app. That’s some clever mojo right there. I paid for my groceries and collected my in-card rewards and headed home. At home, I downloaded the Club+ app and it logged me straight in. Can’t get any easier than that.

Thanks for your lovely feedback, and for taking the time to share your experience in detail. We’re glad the move to Club+ was straightforward for you, both in store and when downloading the Club+ app afterwards. It’s great to hear everything worked smoothly.

App won’t update to scan card

It’s over 12 days since the cards launched and can’t even scan the digital card as the app hasn’t updated. To refresh the barcode screen. Spend all the money on developing an app but can even update it to be able to scan the card from the digital wallet from launch day. Whoops!!!- Appreciate the copy paste response, but we both know this wasn't actually written for me. My internet was fine, and "update the app" is exactly what I'd already before I left the review. Funny how the reply only showed up once an update or two had quietly rolled out anyway, gives you the perfect excuse to dodge admitting it was ever broken. A real apology would've taken the same effort as this template. Maybe try that next time.

It’s pretty easy to use, been using it since it was launched. But the thing is that I’ve been using it a lot and I’ve been checking the app every time after I’ve used the app or my Club+ card, and none of my points have been updated or anything. So, I hope this can be resolved soon because I’ve really been using this and yet I haven’t been getting any of my points or any update :/

Developer Response
Thanks for the feedback! We understand how important it is to see your rewards updated promptly after shopping. Please make sure your card registers after scanning with the checkout operator. Each banner has its own rewards programme and benefits, so the way rewards are earned and used can vary between New World, PAK’nSAVE and Four Square.
