1. Tell NovaPay what you need, in your own words.
2. It finds businesses near you and asks them on your behalf.
3. Quotes come back, and you compare them side by side.
4. Pick one, agree a time, and pay when the work is done.
WHAT YOU CAN GET DONE
Plumbers, electricians, builders, roofers, plasterers, painters, carpenters and handymen. Cleaners, gardeners, lawn mowing, movers and rubbish removal. Dentists, mechanics, auto electricians, tutors, photographers and caterers. If it's a local business you'd normally ring around for, NovaPay asks them for you.
ANYWHERE IN NEW ZEALAND
Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch, Hamilton, Tauranga, Dunedin and the smaller towns in between. If NovaPay doesn't already know a business near you that does the job, it goes and finds them — so a thin trade in a small town still gets you real answers instead of an empty list.
WHAT PAYING LOOKS LIKE — FOR CUSTOMERS
• You approve every dollar. NovaPay does the asking and the chasing, never the spending. Every quote waits for your OK.
• Nothing is charged up front. You pay once the work is done.
• Pay by card, or by bank transfer from your New Zealand bank account.
• Your payment goes straight to the business. NovaPay doesn't hold your money at any point.
• There's no membership and no charge to find businesses or collect quotes. When you pay for a job, a small service fee covers the payment itself, and you see it before you confirm.
• Every payment leaves a receipt in the app, with GST shown.
WHAT PAYING LOOKS LIKE — FOR BUSINESSES
• Enquiries from real customers nearby who have already said what they need and when.
• Quote in a few taps: callout, hourly rate, hours, and the times you're free.
• Nothing to pay to receive an enquiry or send a quote. A small platform fee applies only to work you win.
• Get paid without chasing invoices. The customer pays on completion and the money lands in your account.
• Message the customer, agree a time, mark the job done, and get reviewed.
MESSAGING AND SAFETY
Once a quote is under way you can message the other party about the job. If something isn't right, you can report it or block them from inside the conversation, and manage blocked accounts under Security in your account settings.
