Champ: your child's support

One place for the whole team

Free · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.

Everything about your champ's support, kept in one place, whoever is on their team. Looking after a child who needs extra support is a lot to keep track of: reports, appointments, goals, funding, and the things someone said at the last meeting. Often it all ends up in a parent's head. Champ gives it one private place, and lets you share it with the people who help your child, so you are not the only one who remembers. WHAT YOU CAN KEEP IN CHAMP Profile: who your child is, in your words. What they love, what helps, what to watch for. Goals: what your child is working on, with updates from anyone on the team as things move. Documents: reports, letters and plans. Upload them, or email them in. Calendar and meetings: appointments, reviews and catch-ups, with the documents each one needs. Forward an invite and it lands in the calendar. Afterwards, add a few lines or a recording, and Champ writes up the notes and the to-dos for someone who was there to check. Moments: the good days and the hard ones, so the small wins are not lost. Funding and support: what you have applied for, what was approved, and who to call. The team hears when something changes. Medication: what, how much, when, and who gives it. Messages: conversations with the team, kept beside everything else. WHO IS ON THE TEAM Anyone you invite: your GP, paediatrician, therapists, teachers and teacher aides, support workers, grandparents and other whanau. One child, one team, however many places they come from. People who work with several children, such as a therapist or a teacher, see each child they support from one login. When someone moves on, what they added stays with your child, so the next person may not have to start from nothing. YOU DECIDE WHO SEES WHAT Nothing about your child is shared with anyone you have not invited. You choose who joins, what they can see, and when they leave. GETTING STARTED Parents can sign up and start a profile themselves in a few minutes. A professional can also start one on your behalf, and it then passes to you to look after. Not sure yet? Try the demo, a made-up family you can click through before adding anything of your own. ABOUT CHAMP Champ is free, kept going by donations. It was designed and built in Aotearoa New Zealand by 2 parents. It works on a phone, a tablet or a computer, and on the web at champ.kiwi. Champ is a place to keep and share information. It does not give medical advice or replace anyone on your child's team.
