Connected Home
I now have 27 devices connected to my wifi including phones and iPads. This app controls 13 of them. Lights, curtains and garage door. The easy to set scenarios are great to close curtains at a set time before dusk etc. Timers are also very easy to set and use.
I hope that one day the app will interface with apples Siri.
Great system, and good price from Kogan too
SmarterHome has helped us a lot! Also at a much more reasonable price than alternatives. Firstly I wanted a ‘smart’ heater I could better control temperature and time with. The Kogan heater has been great. I followed this with a bunch of smart power monitoring plugs which have helped us understand our power usage and debates with landlord. Finally they’ve also been great to control a not so intelligent dehumidifier and LED grow light. The only negative is we’ve had the occasional ‘glitch’ with a random switch turning off for no apparent reason - but quite minor really, given good price.
Power meters not displaying graph
I have been using Kogan smart devices for about a year and have generally been quite happy with the performance of the devices. Recently, however, I have noticed that one of the features that I find most useful- the power monitoring function has lost the ability to display a graph power usage over time. This is rather disappointing as it means I have lost the ability to analyse the energy consumption characteristics of an appliance.
Please can you restore it in your next release. Thanks.
