Ratings and ReviewsSee All
Generally a good app but has some vital things missing. I am unable to enlarge the map when viewing a property without opening another app such as GoogleMaps. Also I am unable to save “sort by” options with the saved search. Therefore a saved search will always default to sort by “featured first” with makes a saved search more or less pointless. Also please get rid of the intro animation when I first open the app. It’s just plain annoying.
Still the worst experience using this app.
I wrote the below review months ago and this app is still as bad as it was back then. Unbelievable a company won’t take notice of all the bad reviews and the users it’s losing. I’d be interested to read the analytics on this app when it was pretty darn good and the UX was brilliant compared to now. I tried to get the map view and well it was useless. Just a whole load of dots on a blank screen. The app isn’t device responsive so only really viewable on a mobile once you can work your way around the nav. Useless on an iPad. Change for change sake has no value.
This new version feels gimmick-y. Only works on portrait mode on iPad which is an awful experience. The amount of clicking and navigating on a small phone is now tedious. Sorry developers, this new version is a big miss on a lot of levels and I see no good user experiences. Please bring back the instant map view and list of properties associated. Was sooo good.
Developer Response ,
Hi, thanks for taking the time to give us feedback. We’re aware of these issues and our development team are working to have a new update shortly. You can expect to see the map search issues fixed and working as they used to. Thanks - the team at realestate.co.nz.
Good improvements, highly useable but could be even better.
After reading all these reviews I almost didn’t download this app, but honestly it’s not that bad! It’s the best way to view property on a smart phone (compared with using my phones browser) Grab this app if that is what your looking for!
The app is snappy on my iPhone 8+, very little to no ads! It’s a nice direct way to look through some properties on a phone.
Extra features I would like:
-Pinch to zoom on photos. That would make viewing a house on my phone screen more immersive and make me less likely to go get the laptop out. That would be a big win for your app.
-Active map location that works with in the app. (It currently opens up google maps app) it would keep me in your app longer if you better integrated map functionality.
Other than that, this app is highly functional and does not deserve its current rating.
4/5 stars. Keep up the improvements, they are starting to pay off.
