Note: This app uses a data stream that will connect to your Swann system via 4G/5G or Wi-Fi. When using 4G/5G, the video from your Swann device may be considered "downloads" by your phone service provider and could contribute to any download limit your phone data plan may have. New update 8/7/21

Just did the latest update in the App Store & the app now keeps crashing whenever I move through the playback.

Preferred the old version worked fine. The only difference I’ve noticed are things are a little bit clearer and sharper than before the update was done. Still very slow at getting live view.

A lot of room for improvement

Every once in a while, the app would stop pushing notification for no reason where the app notification settings are surely enabled. You would think silly tricks like turning the settings/phone on and off or log out from the app would fix it? No. The only way to fix it is to reinstall the app.

Not to mention that I often run into problem where the app cannot load my account subscription nor able to connect to the NVR, but checking through TV/PC is working fine and even faster (I have my NVR connected to TV via HDMI as well as the Swann desktop app setup on my PC which I use it to login as an alternative)

I have been using the AllSecure 650 for over a year now. Generally speaking it does the job and there is not much to complain about if you just follow all the default settings they offer. If you are looking to do something advance with the NVR like having a Wi-Fi extender installed due to weak signal strength and wanting to get support from Swann - Good luck you will likely get no respond from them just like I have a support ticket submitted more than 2 months and never hear anything back.

Not satisfied

Purchased wire free twin pack 2 days ago and will be returning. Set up was easy and straight forward connecting to your phone/wifi but it went downhill for us from there. Once cameras were connected we noticed a decent lag from camera movement to our phones. 5s lag on low quality and about 21s lag on high quality. The connection was constantly dropping or freezing, once opening the app after being alerted of motion movement it takes about 2-5 minutes for the cameras to load so you’ve most likely missed whatever they’ve alerted you for. For us the cameras were not picking up much motion movement, wouldn’t alert us when we would walk past the cameras, if cars came down our drive but would give constant false alarms from trees moving etc. In our own experience i wouldn’t recommend.
