I love the game but...

I absolutely adore the premise of the game, it’s fun and a nice stress relief, however recently I’ve been noticing some bugs that are really frustrating in the game play. Firstly, I just went back into the game to check the progress of my sims as I had left them to complete tasks, and the game force quit. Now that in itself is okay, sometimes that happens, but it made all of my sims stop doing the task they were in the middle of, some of which were 12 or 16 hours through. This means I’ll have to start again and will also make it harder to complete the tasks within the time limits to win certain prizes. Secondly; I was baking cakes and spending 5LP per cake, and when I would switch houses and go back to it, it would deduct another 5 even though I had already paid. I don’t mind when it does that for baking ordinary things that just cost dollars, or for plants, but LP are quite difficult to earn so it’s frustrating to have them saved up and watch them disappear because of a glitch. These are the main two things frustrating me at the moment, and if they were to be fixed my rating would be 5 stars for sure. I’m looking forward to an update that resolved these issues.

Unfair repeat payments

I love the sims freeplay it's my favourite game of all time, BUT THIS IS EXACTLY WHY I HAVE TO STRESS PROBLEMS. As a VIP player I'm being stolen from regarding plants and baking. If you switch which house you are in while a sim is gardening or baking when you return to that house you get charged a second time. So if I spent 2 LP on a plant if I were to leave and return to that house five times I would loose 10 LP. If I bought carrots for $sim5 and left the house once when I return to collect the carrots I would have paid $sim10. On top of the necessity to be a higher VIP or purchase time tokens or SP in order to complete any event, and certain hobbies being to long to complete without LP during other events it's unfair on VIP players who have already shown loyalty by making purchases. One last thing, I recently was charged for a LPsprout without ever getting the sprout .... I'm trying to contact the app developers to understand what's going on.

Why ads

I redownloaded this game, and I don’t remember there being ads every 5 minutes. I used to watch adds all the time to get the rewards you guys offer, but every time I go do something and an add plays it’s so irritating. I respect the need for them so you guys can make more money, but having the choice to watch ads for rewards was a brilliant idea, it takes away the fun with the automatic ones. A lot of times the adds just redirect me to safari or the AppStore without even touching the screen and I have to start up the game again, it’s just very annoying and I remember really enjoying the game. It’s hard to play through when there’s ads involved in a game that’s not even cheaply made. You wouldn’t expect an abundance of adds on an offical EA game. It’s just crazy. This review probably won’t change anything, but PLEASE change. This. We know this isn’t your only way to make money, so why make it so inconvenient for the player to actually play the game? I played for about 10 minutes today because all the ads popping up just were not worth it. All I got done was 2 tasks because of it.
