Good forecast but rough app

The app could do with an intro as some settings such as swiping left and right to change locations are not obvious initially.

Also I have not found how to see history of rainfall, Temp etc. Always good to know what has happened recently.

Change of reporting stations

This was a great app where you could get weather reporting from your local station in your locality - unfortunately they changed the format and centralised the reporting stations
Example - we used to get up to date weather live reports from a station within in 10km of our home which has different micro climate systems compared to that of an area 40 kms away ( geography and sea influences)
After WeatherWatch used the IBM weather model analysis our nearest monitoring station is in Christchurch which is 70kms from us and we now read temp variances of 3-4 degrees , wind directions way out of sync and rain recording show 0.0mm when it’s been bickering down for a couple of hours
WeatherWatch need to allow an option to select your own weather station ( PWS) in your area of weather climate influence

Read T&C before using...quite odd..collects meteor reports

This is a privately run weather service that states that should you submit images or information they will claim it. Even more odd is the collection of meteor reports...they try to claim all that occurs in the sky is of interest but clearly not everything in the sky relates to weather. Meteorology and climatology has no links to astrology and to suggest collection of that information just detracts public from submitting reports to valid correlation pathways. Left with little confidence in the weather prediction from this service sadly. I could relate to wanting unusual cloud reports but lights and meteors is simply odd :-S
