Xero Verify 4+

Supposedly in our security interests, but if you read there privacy statements the use of the app allows them to collect data that they can share to third parties that enables those parties to market, promote, and sell goods and services. As well regulators law enforcement etc. Sounds really good.... considering that they now know all your bank account details, customer s, suppliers, etc. good luck
Edit: if Xero can confirm they don’t sell my data to third parties, then they need to change there written privacy policy so that it reflects that position. Let me know when that happens.

The purpose of the MFA authentication app is solely to generate security codes for signing into Xero. Again, please update your review with your ticket support #, so we can reach you and alleviate your concerns.

I would really like the person who inflicted this upon is to be strapped to a bed of fast growing bamboo and tortured as it grows through their depraved bodies.
I suspect that Authenticator apps and passwords with capital letters and symbols will shortly take over as the leading cause of stress induced death in western society. I have no evidence ( like most internet commentators $ but it feels like these things are killing me slowly and painfully.
Edit : Xero responded very nicely, I still hate Authenticator as we seem to get logged out every few minutes. I understand it, still hate it
Further edit: XeroHave improved the way this works, I understand the need for it now and admit I was wrong. It’s actually not too inconvenient and saves our data.
My statement about the hackers needing to be tortured still stands.

Really dislike being forced to use this process however it’s relatively easy on iOS once set up. One thing for improvement: logging in on a mobile device web browser, after confirming the verify message we should be taken back to the web browser, which is now logged in, not to xero verify. Unnecessary extra step to click back to your browser. Let’s make the process as few steps as possible, esp for irritable folk like me who whinge on about how we’re being forced to so this. Thanks.
