The Plunge is a luxurious, beachfront location in San Diego that offers fun and innovative aquatic programs promoting health and wellness. Our gorgeous facility is open to the public and hosts everything from swim lessons to birthday parties to lap swimming.
Since 1925, multiple generations have learned how to swim at our historic facility. Now, technological innovations have allowed us to place instant feedback on swim lessons right at your fingertips.

Our History: Originally built in 1925 and newly renovated in 2019, the historic Plunge pool allows swimmers to enjoy the warm San Diego weather all year long. Open to the public with panoramic views, the Plunge welcomes swimmers of all ages.
