When you SANKA someone whose phone has gone quiet — dead battery, airplane mode, or out of coverage — Sanka now shows a fresher last-known location and gives their phone time to reconnect and reply with its live spot before reporting them offline. Fewer "offline" surprises, more accurate answers. We've also made background location replies more dependable on iPhone, plus behind-the-scenes fixes and a warmer welcome for new members.

More reliable location sharing. 1. SANKA now shows a single, up-to-date map per person — no more duplicate or conflicting location cards. 2. Clearer status when someone's unreachable ("currently offline · last known location"). 3. Fixes a case where Android users who allowed location only "While Using" weren't prompted to switch to "Always," which could make them wrongly appear offline.

1. SANKA when someone isn't sharing SANKA a friend who has location sharing turned off. You should see one message — "[Name]'s location is not available" — and no map. (Before, it showed two conflicting messages like "not sharing" + "not available.") 2. Notifications follow your phone's settings Chat and call notification sound/vibration now follow your iPhone's own notification settings — there are no in-app sound/vibration toggles anymore. Adjust them in iOS Settings → Notifications → Sanka. Please confirm chat and call alerts behave the way your phone is configured. 3. Simpler Settings screen Settings is trimmed down (no more Location Privacy, Sanka Auto-Reply, or notification toggles). Your single "Share my location" switch now lives on your Profile. Confirm it still turns sharing on/off. 4. Guardian & Child Monitoring Set up a guardian on one device, accept on the child device. Confirm: the child cannot hide their location from the guardian (the per-friend toggle is locked), and the guardian can always see the child's location. The guardian can still remove monitoring anytime. 5. Calls Incoming calls should ring reliably — including right after a previous call. A call should survive leaving the call screen (mini in-app view).

Calls now keep running when you leave the call screen — multitask or check your chats mid-call with Picture-in-Picture, no dropped calls. SANKA can now reach people who are offline: see their last known location on the map, with how long ago it was reported. (Sankayo) Sending SANKA in a group now shows which members you're not following, so you know who can be reached. Fixed in-call chat being hard to read in dark mode. Privacy and reliability improvements.
