- Home keeps the tool order you chose, even after restarting without a connection.
- Tasks and quick notes created offline are protected against duplicates when sending is retried.
- Stories open faster by reusing what was already loaded.
- Institution names appear in the app's language, and group admin screens no longer show raw IDs.

Taleb 2.3.5
HOUSING — REQUESTS AND CONTRACTS
- Requests are grouped: waiting on you, contract cancellations, then decided.
- A cancellation request has its own place in the provider's world, with the date it was asked.
- Tap any request for its record: kind, who sent it, when, and the decision with its date and reason.
- Contract-ending notices for both sides: two months, one month, one week and three days before the end, once each.
- «My requests» names the service provider, says whether water and electricity are included, and shows the room, the bed, the price and the building.
- The beds page shows every bed: taken (and by whom) or free.
MAINTENANCE
- Every report is its own conversation, in place: write and attach photos inside the report.
- When the fault is resolved the conversation closes — still readable, no longer writable. The provider decides.
MAP AND INSTITUTIONS
- All 36 institutions are on the interactive map, at every zoom, in both worlds.
- Each institution has a "Location on the map" button that opens Google Maps at the same point.
- New, clearer crests for sixteen institutions.
LIBRARY
- Research up to 7,000 words; exams up to 50 multiple-choice, 20 essay and 50 true/false; decks up to 30 slides.
- Closed a hole that allowed the daily tool limits to be bypassed.
- A task needs only a title; details and subtasks are optional, and recurrence works.
- In notes, tapping a checkbox ticks it and strikes the line through while keeping it.
MESSAGES AND NOTIFICATIONS
- The messages badge counts unread conversations, not messages.
- The story-view, ten-minutes and research achievements are awarded properly.
SIGN-IN
- Google and Apple sign-in no longer fail in silence.

Taleb 2.2.9
Housing, finished: cancelling a booking with approval, who received a notice by name, and attachments on maintenance replies.
CANCELLING A BOOKING IS NOW A REQUEST. A booking can be cancelled only once the deposit is paid; the request goes to the provider, who approves or declines, and you are notified of the decision. The deposit now says what it is for: settled against a cancellation or damage through misuse.
BUILDING NOTICES WORK ON BOTH SIDES. Anyone with a confirmed booking receives and reads them, even before moving in. The provider sees "Reached 7 of 9" and taps it to see, by name, who received it and who did not.
A REPLY ON A MAINTENANCE REPORT takes photos and a voice note, from either side. Five photos plus a voice note are now accepted.
PAYMENTS: declaring a payment notifies the provider, and their approval or refusal notifies you with the reason. Rent reminders name the building and the provider.
BOOKING: a student can never hold two beds, even if two requests in two buildings are accepted. An older booking now carries its room and bed, so that bed is no longer offered to anyone else, and its room type reads "Double".
EDITING A BUILDING: the beds or bathroom of a room type with a tenant cannot be changed, and the change notice says what changed in each room: price, bathroom, type.
ALSO: an accepted request moves to "Decided" instantly. A chat started from a story is an ordinary chat with all its options. Tapping a booking notification in the notifications list opens the request. "New today" on the admin dashboard is split by provider type.
2.2.9 17 Sept
Taleb 2.0.95
The provider workspace gets a bottom bar, a map of its own, and its own law.
FOUR PLACES INSTEAD OF A STACK OF PUSHES. Home, Properties, Map and Settings. Every one of these screens already existed; they were stacked on top of each other, so «my buildings» was a push behind a tile and «settings» was a push behind a row, and finding your way back meant remembering how you got there. They are places now, and the bar says where you are.
The Properties tab carries a COUNT. How many requests are waiting for a decision — the number used to live eight tiles down inside the dashboard, on the screen you had to open to find out whether it was worth opening. A provider who does not open the app loses the student.
A MAP, WITH TWO WAYS TO READ IT. «Mine» draws your own buildings — including the ones still in draft, which no public map can ever show, because the public map only carries published listings on verified providers and that is exactly the week you most want to see where your building sits. «All listings» is the whole map as a student sees it, universities and prices and all. You can look at everything and book nothing: the booking action is gone from another provider's listing, guarded at the listing itself so that every route to it is closed, not just this one.
TERMS AND A PRIVACY POLICY WRITTEN FOR YOU. The workspace was linking to the student documents, which open on a minimum age of 13 and go on to describe posts, stories and AI answers — nothing a provider does and nothing a provider is liable for. A person running a business cannot be asked to accept somebody else's terms. Fifteen clauses now say what is actually true of this relationship: that you are an independent party and the tenancy is yours, that you cannot verify yourself, that verification checked an IDENTITY and never a building, that there is no commission, and that closing your provider profile does not delete your Taleb account. The privacy policy says the thing that matters most and was never written down anywhere: the moment you accept an application, the resident's data is YOURS to protect — you become an independent controller of it, with a 72-hour duty to tell us about a breach — and we pass you the minimum, never a student's studies or their activity on the platform.
And the workspace no longer opens on «…». The header showed a bare ellipsis while it loaded, on a white card, which reads as a screen that failed rather than one that is working — and it is the first thing a provider sees every time.
2.0.95 15 Sept
Taleb 2.0.91
The two worlds stop sharing a message, too. Signing in as a provider and still being handed a chat notification from the student world — and landing in that world when it was tapped — was left open on purpose two releases ago, as «the bridge between the worlds». The deciding fact was missed: the provider workspace has no inbox at all, so a chat notification there could only ever open a student screen. The bridge had no far bank. Messages now wait in the world they belong to, and what reaches a provider where they are is what they can act on there: a request for a room, a maintenance ticket, rent.
«Students' sign-in» works again from the providers' door. It went back by popping the screen, which assumed the providers' door had been opened on top of the students' one — and since the last release that door is also what the app paints by itself after signing out of the provider workspace, where there is nothing underneath to go back to. It now swaps the door in place when there is no route to pop.
And signing out clears the notification shade. Logging out dropped what the app remembers about the notifications it had shown and never cancelled the notifications themselves, so a signed-out phone kept a message from the previous account on the lock screen — tappable, and pointing into an app with no session.
2.0.91 15 Sept
Taleb 2.0.80
A paused upload can always be resumed. The buttons in the notification are the ones this fixes: pausing severs the transfer, and the abort that causes lands a moment later — so a resume in that window left the queue reading its own pause as a failure, and reported a file that had uploaded in full as «1 failed». A pause that landed after the last byte froze a finished batch under «Upload paused» with a Resume button that could never do anything. The upload notification is now ONE row instead of two: the empty «Taleb» row beside the progress row was the background service posting its own, with no title and no body. A file that fails now says which file and why, in the shade, even when you have left the screen. An uploaded file appears in your drive at once instead of after a deliberate wait. And when the bar reaches the end and the server is still finishing, the row says so.
2.0.80 12 Sept
Taleb 2.0.71
Stories now take public comments, the Instagram way: what people say appears on the story for everyone who opens it, with a comment sheet, quick emoji reactions and a notification for the author — and it all goes when the story does. «Ask your followers» stories keep their own answer box instead. The daily smart post on Home shows its full text, especially on iPhone, and the points screen now explains how points are really earned: from daily tasks, each with its own limit, not from every action.
2.0.71 10 Sept
Taleb 2.0.47
The sign-in screen says the app's name once. The mark, the wordmark and the greeting were saying it three times, stacked. Apple and Google are now their marks alone; email keeps its words, because it is the way in for anyone without either account.
The Arabic/English switch is a switch again: two halves of equal width, so the control no longer resizes when you change language and slide out from under your finger, and the selected half is raised by a shadow.
English text is drawn in the English face. It was being drawn with the Arabic family's Latin glyphs across eighteen text roles and the whole League page.
The bottom bar is a raised surface with two rounded top corners, instead of a gradient that dissolved into the page and showed content through the icons.
Photos are no longer squashed. A portrait image was being decoded into a square before it reached the painter, so it looked compressed everywhere except full screen. Uploaded video now reads the phone's rotation instead of being stretched sideways.
The like heart is solid again.
Library tool colours are lighter and more vivid so the tools are easier to tell apart, and Home's extra outlines are gone.
Profile completion is optional: "Dismiss" ends the prompt on all your devices, and comes back from the same reminders switch.
The presentation builder now looks like the summariser and the exam tools.
2.0.47 5 Sept
Taleb 2.0.29
You can take a message back: delete it for everyone within two days of sending, or delete it just for yourself at any time — including someone else's message, which stays on their device.
Editing a message stays open for fifteen minutes, and the option now disappears when the window does instead of failing when you tap it.
The emoji button in the note editor no longer opens and shuts in one press, leaving the keyboard in its place.
Flashcards and exams follow the language of the document you uploaded, ask about what a document teaches rather than about its reference list, and refuse a file whose text could not be read instead of building a deck out of nothing. The original document can now be opened and read from the deck and from the exam.
The app icon, the launch screen and the notification mark follow your device's mode: the black-and-gold logo by day, the white-and-gold one at night.
Also: room under the home banner, a spark bubble sized to its own text, the two spark-creation buttons above your collections, and a story you can call off while it uploads.
2.0.29 3 Sept
Taleb 2.0.27
Spark extraction now finishes even if you leave the tool. It used to stop the moment you closed the screen, leaving a collection stuck on "extracting" forever; the server finishes it for you now, and says so plainly when a build fails instead of going quiet.
Messages written offline say "will send when you're back online" instead of "not sent" — visible from the chats list, not only inside the chat, and you can delete one before it goes. Notes and files are kept on your device and upload themselves when the network returns.
Tapping a notification takes you to the thing itself: your story, your post, the comment it is about.
The story ring no longer appears on someone with no story, and translation says "no connection" when there is none instead of "something went wrong".
Chat reactions sit under the bubble for every kind of content, with a proper animation. The story editor resizes elements with two fingers and blurs the part you choose rather than the whole picture — and the confirm tick in image editing no longer publishes your story for you.
Plus fixes for three crashes we found in the error reports you send us.
2.0.27 2 Sept
Taleb 2.0.24
Cropping a profile picture no longer takes the app down with it. The cropper was decoding the full-resolution image on every rebuild, which on a phone screenshot is an out-of-memory kill under a drag.
A deleted profile picture or banner now disappears immediately instead of waiting for a save.
Spark stops counting down to a fact that does not exist: a collection with nothing left says so rather than looping thirty seconds for ever. The home-screen widget offer waits until setup is actually finished, and an unfinished setup now asks to be opened.
Comment details name the sender, the time it was sent and, when there was one, the time it was edited — it used to print a meaningless technical line.
Translation picks its direction from the text rather than from the app's language, so an Arabic comment comes back in English instead of coming back unchanged.
Every story now carries a button listing who is tagged in it, whether the author left the chips on the picture or hid them. And the + on your own avatar in the feed opens the same three doors the stories row does, "ask your followers" included.

Sparks now reach you on every surface and stop when the phone is in your pocket, and the one waiting for an answer can finally be opened and answered from the app instead of parking the timer forever. Story mentions became real: tap a name to see who it is, get a notification when somebody mentions you, and land on that exact story; move the mention anywhere on your story before posting, or hide it and stay mentioned underneath. You can share a public account's story to anyone on Taleb — never to its own author, and never a private account's. Finishing a story now returns you where you came from. A sticker you make from somebody's photo is really yours now, so it actually sends. Documents in chat can be saved to your device. Your profile shows how complete it is, on the profile itself, and a reminder can be pushed twelve hours out or switched off for good. Changing a password no longer signs you out of the device you changed it on, and every wait in the app now carries the Taleb mark.

• Both points cards now open: where your points came from, and when.
• Streak map: sixteen medals over two years, plus a guide to when it breaks and why the medals stay yours.
