Typing in your own language - Missing apostrophes are put back. Type "im" and get "I'm", "dont" and get "don't". French, Italian, Catalan and Breton get theirs too: "cest" becomes "c'est", "lho" becomes "l'ho". - Missing accents are put back where the word is unambiguous: "nao" becomes "não", "voce" becomes "você", "aqui" becomes "aquí", "ca" becomes "ça". - Where both spellings are real words, nothing is rewritten and the accented one is offered instead. Portuguese "esta" stays "esta", with "está" one tap away. - Suggestions now stay in the language you are writing. With two languages on, typing a Portuguese word no longer fills the bar with English guesses. Autocorrect where there was none - Autocorrect did not work at all in Finnish, Romanian, Hungarian, Czech, Indonesian, Icelandic, Lithuanian, Polish and Slovenian. It does now. - Nine word lists were rebuilt. Afrikaans gets its article 'n, Dutch gets 't and 'n, German gets 'ne, and Turkish gets back every word starting with a capital İ, including İstanbul. Fix capitalization - Words you always write a certain way are learned and applied: "i" becomes "I", "iphone" becomes "iPhone". - Teach the keyboard your own spellings, and choose which languages each one applies in. - Correcting the keyboard once is enough to stop it. Changing its mind the other way takes twice, so a single stray shift does not retrain it. Themes - A gallery of ready-made themes, including ones built around a photo. - Share a theme as a file, with its photo included. - The suggestion bar and toolbar can be one unbroken bar behind the words, or a box per word. - The keyboard now follows the appearance of the app you are typing in, instead of the phone's. Smaller things - A popup near the top of the keyboard slides down instead of being cut off. - Pin a tool in place of a pager arrow, or leave that end empty. - Long-press hints can show numbers only. - Two quick taps on the space bar reliably give a dot again. - New diacritics: ō, and a Māori preset.

My info - Store your email, phone, address and other details once, then fill them in with one tap. In fields an app labels, the matching value appears right in the suggestion bar. - Typing part of a stored value completes it, in any field. - Everything stays in the device Keychain: hardware-encrypted, never synced, never in a backup. Passwords are never involved, because secure fields never show this keyboard at all. Keyboards that match the field - Number, decimal and phone fields open on a large number pad with letters under the digits, and the corner key that other keyboards leave empty does something useful: switch back to letters, type a decimal comma, or dial a plus. - Email fields get an at key, endings like .com under the dot key, and email providers suggested as soon as you type the at. - Web address fields get dot, slash and .com keys instead of the space bar, with popular sites suggested as you type. - A mistyped address like gmail.con is offered as a correction. Nothing you type in these fields is ever learned as a word. Swipe to delete - Hold backspace and swipe to delete whole words, one per step, and swipe back to bring them straight back. Clipboard - Every entry shows what kind of thing it is and how long ago you copied it. - Expand the list to full height when you have a lot saved. Settings - Search moved to a toolbar button, and the tabs stay reachable while the preview is open. - The number pad can be sized on its own, separately for portrait and landscape. - The character bubble that pops up above a tapped key can now be turned off, in Appearance > Popups. Long-press accents and symbols still appear.

Quick setup - New to keyboard2? A short setup walks you through turning the keyboard on, switching to it and picking your languages and layout, with a live preview reacting to every choice. - The steps check themselves off as you complete them, and you can rerun the setup any time from Settings. Swipe typing improved - Swiping now picks the right word much more often, in all your enabled languages. Better auto-corrections - Accents are restored automatically: type "cafe" and get "café", in every supported language. - Corrections now come from all your enabled languages, not just the one you type most. - Typo matching got much faster, so suggestions keep up on long words. Smarter learning - The keyboard learns words you actually type and keeps them per language. - Undoing a correction now also un-teaches it, so a wrong guess doesn't come back. Settings, reorganized - Four clear tabs: Keyboard, Typing, Appearance and General. - A search box that jumps straight to any setting.

Your own photo behind the keys - Pick a photo from your library and use it as a custom theme's background. - Adjust it right in the app: how strongly it shows, which part of it you see, dim, blur, brightness, contrast and colour. - A separate version is prepared for portrait and landscape, so the framing is right either way. - The photo is copied into the app and never leaves your device. Fonts you bring - Import a .ttf or .otf file and use it on the keyboard, alongside the built-in families. - Built-in and Installed now have their own tabs, with a short guide to adding a font to your iPhone. Text replacements - The shortcuts you set up in iOS Settings now expand while you type, with no setup and no Full Access needed. - You can also add your own list in the app, which beats the automatic fixes when both could apply. - Backspace right after a replacement puts your shortcut back. Smaller adjustments - The top panel can go shorter than before, and the toolbar's icons and captions scale down to keep fitting it. - The preview stays on the toolbar page while you change settings instead of jumping back to suggestions. - Reset confirmations appear straight away with the preview open.

Custom layout improvements - Reorder rows by dragging: grab the handle next to a row and move it where you want. - A row added on top now renders correctly, with the same key widths and centering as the rest of the keyboard.

Auto-fix - The keyboard now fixes typos for you: end a word with space or punctuation and a misspelling no language knows gets replaced with the closest match - no tapping needed. - One backspace right after a fix brings back exactly what you typed. - Optionally let the enter key apply fixes too (off by default). Diacritics in hints - Choose how accented letters show on the keys: hidden, first one, or all of them - and whether they appear before or after the other hints. Emoji key style - Pick the filled or the outlined smiley for the emoji key - applies everywhere, including when the emoji key is merged with comma or enter. Separate sizes for landscape - The Sizing settings now have Portrait and Landscape tabs. Landscape follows your portrait sizes by default, or set your own landscape key heights and gaps. Landscape polish - The keyboard preview in Settings now renders landscape exactly like the real keyboard - correct widths, heights, and margins. - Opening the keyboard while already in landscape now sizes it correctly, and rotating looks smoother. Fixes and improvements - Keycap letters now sit on one even line - no more slightly pushed-down keys next to centered ones. - Double-tap-space-for-dot no longer triggers across a quickly typed letter, and respects its setting reliably. - Theme previews now mirror the real keyboard faithfully: merged emoji key, extra letter keys (like Hungarian's í), and hint alignment included.

A separate comma key: Add a dedicated comma key next to the spacebar, so typing a comma no longer needs the symbols keyboard (disabled by default). Put the emoji key where you want it: Left of the comma, right of it, or merged into the comma or enter key - merged means a long press opens the emoji keyboard, and a small smiley on the key reminds you it is there. Match any key with any other: Your own themes could match a key with the letter keys; now any key can match any other - style shift once and have backspace follow it. You can also copy one key's full style onto another as a one-off. Style the comma key: The new comma key is its own part in the theme editor. It looks like the dot key until you say otherwise. Edit the dot and comma keys in your layout: Tap them in the layout builder to change what they type and what a long press gives you. Keep pasting: A new setting leaves the clipboard open after you paste, for pasting several items in a row. One set of colours, your choice: Going from separate light and dark colours back to one set now asks which of the two to keep. Fixes: Older saved themes could fail to load and disappear from the list - they no longer can. Language and accent changes now show up in the settings preview immediately. The keyboard also starts a little faster.

Shift, backspace, space and enter stay where they are, so you can't end up without them. - Emoji search now works in 33 languages Search in the language you're typing, not just English. Every emoji is covered in every one of them, and search survives typos: "smle" still finds the smile. - The number row gets its own look Separate font, size and colours from the rest of the keyboard. - Swipe typing fixes Words now work when a letter sits on more than one key. - Layout fixes Turkish and Latvian had wrong letters on their top rows.
