Agent HUD now reaches your Mac over Tailscale when its local network address doesn't answer, and shows which way it connected. New readings arrive as soon as the Mac records them, and conversations show their messages in the order they were sent. Agent HUD also tells you when one of your devices runs an older version and offers the update. On Apple Watch, a reply stays on screen while it arrives.

Agent HUD opens faster and uses much less memory: it reads only what changed in iCloud, and long conversations stay on disk until you open them. Fixes a case where iOS could stop the app as it started in the background. The Lock Screen card now comes back on its own if it disappears while your agents are still working. Recordings from Apple Watch are always one tap away on the Sessions tab, iPhone asks for speech recognition as soon as Agent HUD is on your watch, and Recent events can be cleared.

Conversations read more clearly. When Claude Code or Codex writes into a conversation on your behalf, iPhone now shows what it is: your answers to an agent's questions, commands you ran and their output, attachments, finished background tasks, interruptions and scheduled runs. The context a client hands the model is left out. Lock Screen cards keep their text white in the light appearance and over bright wallpapers, and while your iPhone charges on a network it catches up on what your Macs changed, so the app opens current.

1. Start from your wrist, continue on iPhone. Tell Codex or Claude Code what to do from Apple Watch. Review your message, choose your Mac and project, and start a session. Follow progress and replies on your wrist, or save your message for later. On iPhone, review and manage messages from your watch and send them when you’re ready. 2. Keep things moving when decisions are needed. Answer questions on iPhone or Apple Watch by choosing an option or responding in your own words. Review and approve plans, or request changes. Answer short single-choice questions directly from notifications. This update also refines Apple Watch quota and token views, improves navigation from session notifications, and improves send confirmations and recovery after interruptions, along with playback controls and agent icons. Starting a session requires Agent HUD 0.5.5 or later for Mac, Agent HUD Remote and experimental Remote Sessions enabled on your Mac.

A new Apple Watch app. It opens on your agents, each with a ring for every quota; turn the Digital Crown through an agent's usage, tokens and recent sessions, or tap its first page to go straight to the sessions. Open a session to read its latest message or have it read aloud. With Remote Sessions on, answer a permission request from the session page on your watch, or record a reply: your iPhone turns the recording into text on the device, and you check it on the watch before it is sent. Messages sent from iPhone appear in the conversation at once and give way to the real turn when your Mac reports it. A message that never shows up is marked, with a way to send it again. With Agent HUD 0.5.4 for Mac, running Claude Code and Codex turns show each message as the agent writes it. iCloud banners are now off until you turn them on in Settings, and saved data appears as soon as the app opens. Continue a Claude Code or Codex session from your iPhone, and answer your Mac's permission requests from a notification, the app or Apple Watch. Requires Agent HUD 0.4.30 or later on your Mac. Update the Mac app to keep your iPhone and Apple Watch in sync. Quota names, usage levels, model names and cost estimates now follow the readings published by your Mac. Long quota names fit more clearly across the app, widgets and Apple Watch. Connecting your Mac is clearer: sharing its download link is optional, and setup shows when iCloud is syncing or waiting for your Mac to confirm. Macs needing the same update share one notice. Browse sessions by day or recent activity, and read recent conversations shared by your Mac. Improved chart scrolling, Lock Screen widget provider marks, balance colours and session details.

Reads the end-to-end encrypted data the Mac app syncs from version 0.4.26, so only your devices can read what your Mac shares. Widgets can follow Kimi, GLM and Qwen, show Kimi and GLM plan quotas, and open exactly the reading they show. Balances hidden in Settings stay off widgets. The Dynamic Island shows how many sessions wait for your approval, Stats counts Today from midnight, and Lock Screen cards name every provider correctly. Signing out of iCloud clears the previous account's data from the app, widgets and Apple Watch.

A new welcome shows what Agent HUD does, and lets you explore every screen on sample data before you connect a Mac. The setup steps tick themselves off as your Mac and plan get ready. When Agent HUD Remote ends, Home says so and keeps your Macs' last data on screen until you renew. Opening the app no longer waits on a slow App Store or iCloud response.

Agent HUD Remote can now be subscribed to in the app through the App Store: plans for 1, 2 or 3 Macs, monthly or yearly, with the first week free at early-bird prices. The new Sessions tab lists recent sessions by day, and each session page shows its turns, tokens and estimated cost.
