We’ve made some exciting new updates to improve your experience while using the app: · We have introduced a new ‘dark mode’ function that you can use across the entire ARU app. Dark mode will invert the typical colour scheme of your screen, displaying a darker background with lighter text and icons. You can now easily switch display themes within your app settings to toggle dark mode. · A new Canvas dashboard can now be viewed directly within the app, showing a summary of all your courses, important statistics, and quick links to your to-do items and assignments. · Priority notifications from ARU will now pop up in the app, giving you important university updates directly to your device. · We have made some general accessibility improvements to help you navigate around the app more easily. Following student feedback, we’ve: • Improved the email tile, consistently linking to your ARU student email account via the Outlook Web App. • Improved the Library landing page, showing ‘last updated’ date and including the ability to refresh the page. • Added messaging to prompt you to ‘Try again’ if the library loans or request information doesn’t load. • Made user interface improvements on the Timetable to correct the alignment of the day and date when swiping horizontally over the week view
