The minutes used to snap. Eight became seven between one glance and the next, with nothing in between to say it had moved. Every countdown in the app rolls its digits now — the board, the stopovers list, the journey rows — so a number that changes looks like it changed. The widgets and the watch keep the old still digits on purpose: those tick without the app being awake, and that is exactly what makes them free. The sort chips have moved into the row they always belonged in. They used to be a band of their own above the panel, costing a full row of screen; now they sit in the gap between share and walking speed. Same four choices — soonest, fastest, fewest changes, least walking — and the bottom of the screen is no taller for it. Every journey row is a line shorter. The countdown had a line to itself beneath the departure time, and since that column was the tallest thing in the row, that one line set the height of every card in the list. The two numbers sit side by side now, which is where they belong: one says when, the other says how long until then. More of the list fits on the screen. Berlin street names survive the summary. A disruption on Schönhauser Allee came back under a name matching no sign in the city — the guard meant to catch exactly that only understood streets written as one word, so every two-word Allee slipped past it. It reads them properly now. On the watch, tapping a stop in the Nearby widget opens that stop's departures. It used to open the app wherever you had last left it, showing nothing you had asked for.
