Aplikacija je pripremljena u sklopu projekta Instituta za onkologiju i radiologiju Srbije „Znanjem
protiv raka“.
U sklopu projekta, pripremljene su 22 brošure namenjene pacijentima, njima bliskim osobama i
zdravstvenim radnicima. Brošure su dostupne u papirnoj verziji i na sajtu Instituta.
Кako se danas za dobijanje traženih informacija koriste savremene tehnologije, sav ovaj materijal
pretočen je u mobilnu aplikaciju. Na taj način, svi tekstovi biće dostupni preko mobilnog
telefona i biće omogućene i njihove izmene.
Motiv za pokretanje navedenog projekta bio je da se pacijentima obezbede:
- adekvatne, dostupne i razumljive informacije o različitim aspektima dijagnostike i
lečenja malignih bolesti
- uputstva za ponašanje tokom i nakon onkološkog lečenja kojim će doprineti boljem
podnošenju i rezultatima lečenja kao i boljem kvalitetu života.
- uputstva za smanjenje anksioznosti, lakše prihvatanje bolesti i lečenja i aktivno učešće
u lečenju
- praktične informacije i saveti koji omogućavaju lakše snalaženje u Instutu i sistemu
onkološke zdrasvtvene zaštite.
Materijal je značajan i za zdravstvene radnike jer onkološki pacijenti od njih očekuju odgovore na
pitanja koja često nisu detaljno obuhvaćena formalnom medicinskom edukacijom a značajna su za
uspešnost lečenja i, naročito, kvalitet života pacijenata.
Istraživanje i odabir tema sprovedeni su u saradnji sa Radnom grupom za podršku pacijentima
IORS i udruženjima pacijenata koji učestvuju u radu navedene grupe.
U pripremi brošura učestvovali su stručnjaci iz odgovarajućih oblasti (lekari, medicinske
sestre, psiholozi, defektolozi)
