How do you protect my child’s data?We collect only the minimum data necessary to operate the app, such as device type and nicknames. We do not sell personal data, and parents can request data deletion at any time or use the in-app delete button.
Do you show ads in the app?No, Science Libs does not display ads.
Is there a cost to use the app?Science Libs offers a free core experience for your child to enjoy, with optional themed Science Lib packs available as one-time purchases.
Can other users contact my child?No. Users can only rate shared Science Libs. There is no commenting or messaging within the app.
How can I delete my child’s data or account?You can easily use the in-app delete account button at any time.
Is it safe for my child to share their Science Libs?Yes. Sharing is optional, and your child can choose which Science Libs to share. Shared stories display only the text and your child’s chosen nickname, not personal information.
Can I control whether my child can view or share Science Libs?Yes. You can lock the sharing and browsing sections behind a parent password so your child cannot access or view shared stories without your permission.
What if someone shares something inappropriate?We use automated filters and manual review to keep Science Libs a safe space. If you see something inappropriate, you can report it using the in-app report button, and we will review and remove any content that violates our guidelines.
Can I review or delete what my child has shared?Yes. You can request review or deletion of your child’s shared Science Libs at any time, or you or your child can remove their submissions directly within the app.
