That Word is now completely free. Features that previously required an in-app purchase are now available to all users.

This release fixes a critical bug with in-app purchases of That Word Plus. Due to an issue with receipt validation, the app would not correctly identify that That Word Plus was previously purchased and would prompt to refresh the receipt every time the app was launched.

• You can now share your scores, either at the end of a game or from Personal Scores. • That Word never prompts you for a review, but you can now rate or review That Word directly from the About screen. • The Quit/Stop button has been renamed to Menu. The old name was a bit confusing. • Fix bug where the time left displayed would sometimes read 0:01 (instead of 0:00) at the end of a round.

That Word is now a free app with an optional in-app purchase to unlock all features. The upgrade is called That Word Plus. Features exclusive to That Word Plus are: • Dictionary Access: Lookup word definitions at the end of each round. • Pause and Resume Games: Start a new game without worrying if you have time to finish—just pause the game and resume anytime. • Track Your Personal Stats: See your playing statistics, including games played, total points, rounds played, accuracy, time played, and special plays made. • View Your Top Scores: Track your all-time top 25 scores and daily top 3 scores. • External Keyboard Support: Use an attached keyboard while playing for super-fast play. Users who purchased earlier versions of That Word are automatically upgraded to That Word Plus.

Online scoring—post your scores online and compete with other players. A Word of the Day feature has been added, which shows a new and interesting 6-letter word each day. Study these, and it might help you advance past a level in your next game. You can now listen to your iPod music while playing. New authentic sound effects recorded specifically for That Word. New improved graphics. New scoring scheme. There are new ways to earn bonus points, and you can also now lose points (for guessing excessively).

In previous versions, the Region Format setting had to be set to an English-language region for That Word to work. Otherwise, the game would effectively use an empty word list. This is now fixed, and the Region Format setting can be for any region (but the word list is always English).
