Real-Time Family Location Tracking
See where your family members are at any moment on a live interactive map. Choose from multiple tracking modes — from battery-saving updates every 15 minutes to real-time updates every 10 seconds. Smart battery management automatically adjusts tracking when battery is low. Request an on-demand location refresh from any family member's device when you need their latest position.
Safe Zones & Geofence Alerts
Create custom safe zones around important locations like home, school, and work. Receive instant notifications when family members enter or leave these zones. Set up personal zones, family-wide zones, or zones specific to individual members. Zones are monitored in the background even when the app is closed.
SOS Emergency Alerts
A dedicated SOS button sends an instant emergency alert to all family members and emergency contacts. The alert includes the sender's live GPS location and is delivered as a high-priority push notification that bypasses Do Not Disturb. Emergency contacts are notified simultaneously.
Emergency Audio Recording
When SOS is activated, Alertison automatically begins recording ambient audio in 15-second chunks, uploaded to secure cloud storage in real time. Recordings are preserved for 30 days and can be played back, downloaded, or forwarded to family chat — providing important documentation during emergencies.
Smart Check-In System
Family members can check in with a single tap upon arrival at a safe zone. The app verifies they are physically inside the zone before confirming. Check-in notifications are sent to the family, and a complete activity history tracks all check-ins and zone events.
Private Family Chat
Communicate securely with your family in real time. Send text, photos, and location shares. See typing indicators, online status, and read receipts. Every family group and event gets its own dedicated chat. Messages are delivered instantly via WebSocket with reliable offline queuing.
Family Management
Create a family group and invite members using a simple 8-character code or email invitation. Assign roles — Parent, Guardian, Teenager — each with appropriate permissions. Parents can create and manage child accounts directly, with simplified login using a username and family code.
Child-Safe Interface
Child accounts get a simplified interface focused on safety essentials: SOS, check-in, and family chat. Kids Mode lets a parent's phone instantly switch to the child interface without logging out — useful when a child needs to use a parent's device. All child account settings are managed by parents.
Events & Calendar
Schedule family events with location, time, event type, and participant invitations. Support for recurring events with flexible patterns. Each event has its own chat for attendees. Set multiple reminders delivered via push notification or email. Sync bidirectionally with Google Calendar.
Discreet Safety Features
A Quick Exit button instantly minimizes the app. A built-in decoy screen disguises the app as a calculator. These features are designed for users in sensitive domestic situations who need to quickly hide the app from view.
Emergency Contacts
Add trusted contacts outside your family who will be notified during emergencies. Set priority order and notification preferences for each contact.
