Gantry
Docker Container Manager
₱ 129.00 · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
New in 1.0.1: Remove takes you back to the container list, terminal output keeps its indentation, and the TLS setup note now says exactly what connects.
Gantry manages Docker containers from your iPhone or iPad. Point it at the Docker Engine API on a homelab server, a VPS or any Linux box you can reach over your network or Tailscale, then start, stop, inspect and troubleshoot containers without opening a laptop.
CONTAINERS
• See every container on the host (running, paused, restarting, created and exited), sorted by state and then by name, each with its image and status line.
• Start, stop, restart, pause and unpause with one tap. Swipe a running container in the list to stop it.
• Remove a stopped container after a confirmation; Gantry then returns you to the list.
• The detail screen shows the image, container ID, started and finished times, published ports, mounts, environment variables (the first 20), and the command.
• Copy Summary puts the key details on the clipboard as text.
LIVE STATS
While a container is running, Gantry reads its CPU and memory usage every 10 seconds and draws a chart of the last 30 readings, plus memory as a percentage of its limit.
LIVE LOGS
• Streams stdout and stderr, starting with the last 200 lines and following new output as it arrives.
• ANSI color codes are stripped. Lines with errors, warnings or info messages are tinted so problems stand out.
• Scroll up to pause, tap Resume to follow again, and clear the view. The screen keeps up to 2,000 lines.
• Select text, or share the log as plain text through the share sheet.
TERMINAL
Run commands inside a running container with Docker exec (/bin/sh -c). Quick chips run common checks: ps aux, ls /, env, df -h, uname -a, id, /etc/os-release, free -m, open ports and top. Output keeps its indentation, so columns from ps and ls -l line up.
PROCESSES
A docker top table of every process in the container, with columns you can scroll sideways.
IMAGES
Browse the host's images by tag, short ID, size and age, with the image count and total size at the top. Swipe to remove an image after a confirmation.
HOSTS
• Add as many Docker hosts as you like: a name, an address or hostname, and a port (2375 for plain HTTP, 2376 when TLS is on).
• Test Connection negotiates the Docker API version and pings the daemon before you can save.
• The host list shows each host's response time and Docker Engine version. Tap a host to make it active; swipe to delete it.
WHAT GANTRY DOES NOT DO
• No SSH. Gantry talks only to the Docker Engine API over HTTP or HTTPS.
• No client certificates, so Docker's usual tlsverify setup on port 2376 won't connect. HTTPS works through an endpoint, such as a reverse proxy, whose certificate your device already trusts. Self-signed certificates are not accepted.
• No username, password or token login.
• It doesn't create, run, pull or build containers or images, and has no Compose, Swarm or Kubernetes support.
• The terminal is not an interactive shell. Each command runs on its own, so cd doesn't carry over and full-screen programs like vim won't work.
• No alerts or background monitoring. Stats and logs update only while their screen is open.
• It doesn't edit a container's settings or environment.
SETUP
The Docker daemon must listen on a TCP port that your device can reach. Plain HTTP on port 2375 is unencrypted and has no login, so keep it off the public internet. We recommend binding it to a private network such as Tailscale.
PRIVACY
Gantry has no account, no ads and no analytics. It connects only to the Docker hosts you add, directly from your device. Your host list (names, addresses, ports and TLS setting) is stored on the device and is set up to sync through your private iCloud database when you're signed in to iCloud. Nothing is sent to us. Email and X feedback open only when you tap them.
PRICE
Gantry is a one-time purchase. There are no in-app purchases and no subscription.

Removing a container now takes you back to the container list instead of leaving you on the deleted container's screen. Terminal output keeps its indentation, so columns from commands like ps and ls -l line up. The Add Host screen now says plainly that client certificates aren't supported for TLS connections. An unused Face ID permission has been removed.
