Corrected FO-29 (JAS-2): it's now properly listed as a linear (SSB/CW) satellite instead of FM, so it shows up where you'd expect when filtering. Thanks to Pete G0ABI for catching it.

Fixes for two issues reported by paying users: (1) the 'Using default coordinates' warning now correctly appears during the brief window between granting location access and iOS delivering your real position, so the app no longer silently uses a default location; (2) the FM Voice filter no longer surfaces satellites whose listed FM transponders aren't operationally usable for typical amateur stations (Taurus-1, ESEO).

Fixes an issue where the pass list could omit daytime passes when N2YO data was active. All radio-workable passes now appear regardless of whether the satellite is visually observable

v1.10 brings a major orbital-mechanics upgrade — satellite positions and pass timing now stay accurate as orbital data ages, down from significant drift in previous versions. Tap into any satellite to see its upcoming passes right there, alongside the radio setup. Settings now surfaces orbital-data freshness so you can spot stale catalogs at a glance and refresh on demand.

Live satellite passes now reliably appear in the Home and Passes "Overhead now" sections as soon as a satellite comes overhead

Improved ISS pass prediction accuracy. ISS times and elevations now match other tracking apps reliably, even when N2YO data isn't available.

Smoother Pass Detail — the embedded sky dome and ground-track map now update every second in lock-step with the fullscreen Live Tracker Render the full AOS-to-LOS arc from TLE, and keep AOS/LOS pins locked across the entire pass. Plus better contrast for the Live-sky footer caption and the catalog-refresh banner on the main screen.

QO-100 and other geostationary amateur satellites finally have their own home in HamSat. • "Always overhead" section on the Home tab lists any GEO bird in your sky right now (QO-100 for European/African ops). • "Find it in the sky" button on the GEO satellite detail — aim your phone to verify line-of-sight from your QTH is clear of buildings, trees, or terrain. • Aim mode now teaches itself: when the phone is pointing at the floor, a hint reads "Tilt the back of the phone toward the sky" instead of the reticle silently disappearing. Numeric "Aim N° up, M° left" guidance now also appears in the fullscreen Live tracker. • Fixed: duplicate scheduled alerts when two prediction sources disagreed on AOS by under three minutes. • Fixed: QO-100 no longer creates stale "60-minute in-progress" entries that cycled on every refresh.

• Live tracker (renamed from Tracker) now rotates to landscape — sky dome on the left, AZ/EL and Doppler-corrected RX/TX frequencies on the right. • Pass rows in Home and Passes now show a bell badge whenever an alert is scheduled, so you can see at a glance which passes you'll be notified about. • Live Activity reliability: cancelling an alert now also dismisses the Lock Screen / Dynamic Island banner across app restarts, multiple alerts rank correctly by soonest AOS, and long-pass satellites (RS-44, ISS) no longer silently fail. • Removed the "Accuracy mode" Settings toggle — N2YO quota is now always reserved for your favourites + ISS, which is the right default. • Pass detail clarifies "uplink = TX, downlink = RX" inline, in case the convention ever comes up.

Fixes empty pass list when N2YO data isn't available for favourited satellites. Favourites now fall back to local TLE estimates so the list is never silently empty.

Fullscreen pass tracker — big sky dome with live bearing/altitude and Doppler-corrected dial frequencies. Open from the LIVE section. "In progress" section on Home so you never miss a pass that's overhead right now. Friendly amateur designations everywhere — SO-50, AO-91, RS-44 — with launch names as subtitles. Search still matches both. Live bearing + altitude readout pinned to the sky dome. Pass detail status flips correctly: countdown → "Pass underway" → "Pass ended". Hilltop ops — Minimum elevation slider now goes down to 0° for unobstructed-horizon operating. Settings stick — Beginner mode, filters, and elevation preferences now persist across launches. No more reset on cold start. Search by OSCAR / RS designations — "RS-44", "JO-97" and others now find their CelesTrak entries directly. JO-97 added to the curated metadata. South Pacific operators — Pass map fixed for ground tracks crossing the antimeridian (180°E/W). Tracks now render correctly on both sides of the dateline instead of slicing across the whole map. Plus the new pass detail hero strip (countdown, pointing summary, handheld-suitability — always visible), cleaner iOS 26 tab bar adapting to Liquid Glass, deep-link routing from notifications, and several stability fixes.
