iCare (Insular Health Care‪)‬ 12+

iCare impressed me from day one. When comparing it to other health management apps, what I love most is how seamlessly it integrates telemedicine with other essential features. I've used apps that focus only on appointments, but iCare enables you to keep track of everything related to your health. Highly recommend it for anyone looking to stay on top of their family’s health.

When opening the app, you will be asked to log in with your email address and password. Afterwards you will choose between 3 option on how you want to receive your OTP (mobile number, email, or mobile number and email). Choosing to receive OTP via mobile number NEVER WORKS so you end up waiting for hours. If you can replace the OTP feature with a face ID or fingerprint feature instead that would be appreciated.

Your app has promise because I want to use the doctor’s journal and wellness logs for glucose, weight, etc. But the difficulty of logging in to access the app discourages me.

Thank you for your feedback! To balance security and convenience, we’ve updated the app. Please update to the latest version and set your PIN: tap the upper-left menu > PIN Configuration > Change PIN > Enter your PIN. Once set, OTPs won’t be required for every login.

You should put sign in with apple button for convenience and privacy. Also, when creating a password, my apple password isn’t prompted. I have to create new password or go to password setting to get it. Again, another standard when asking people to sign up or sign in to an apple app. Looks like the developer didn’t really tested this app or they don’t use iphone to know about these basic feature.

Then, password has a maximum of 15 characters. So you have to count the characters given by apple password. That’s a hassle.

And finally, I can’t log in to the app even after giving the right otp
