User-friendly vector drawing app (STILL)
arkyoodetoo
While I have other apps installed in my iPad and PC, I still go back to Vectornator because of how easy it is to use. I mainly use it for work, and I think my life would have been different a year in if I didn’t have it. Kudos to the people behind this amazing app!UPDATE (2025):I have barely used the app since my work priorities have changed, but I still go back to it when I need to create vector drawings fast (and I haven't deleted it on my iPad) because it's still as user-friendly as the first time I used it---perhaps even friendlier than others (?). Still faster workflow, with the important features just one tap away and not hidden in menus. I look forward to better offers on the free subscription and to the day I get to use the app as often as I previously did to make full use of its functions. Kudos!

Edited: Best Update Ever
Rakki and Baki
Edit (September 20, 2020): So the app updated, and it is working phenomenally now. All my previous problems are gone. I don't want another update. This one is perfect.===I wanted to give this app a higher rating. I mean first of all, it's free, which is really amazing for this kind of app. However, the more I use it and the more complicated the illustration becomes, the worse the app performs. It doesn't save changes I've made, the undo function stops working, and shapes that aren't selected in te first place end up getting modified for some reason. I don't understand what is going on. This is the only vectoring app I have on my iPad right now, so I have no choice but to use it, but the developers should look into these problems ASAP. This app has so much potential. :(
Developer Response
Very sorry to hear that you're unhappy with the app. Please stay tuned for the updates. Soon we are going to release a new app version with fixes. We would be grateful if you give us a second try!
Paid subscription :(
Snow and Hershey
I loved the app when it was still vectornator (that was 5 stars for me). I tried others like “P” but it was not user friendly and “C” was a paid subscription. When it updated to linearity I enjoyed it even more and was able to do projects (that was still 5 stars, support staff for any issues was also excellent as response was quick in my experience) not until it became a paid subscription and it limited my access to my files and I was not even able to print a project at one point so I just gave up. Recently, it has increased its access to my saved files but I still exceeded the 10 free files. I haven’t checked linearity for a while so we’ll see. I just hope I’d be able to transfer my files if I can no longer edit or print them directly from linearity. I do a lot of personal projects and a paid subscription I think isn’t for me. I haven’t tried the paid subscription so I can’t say for now if subscribing to it is worth it. Will update this review incase I do. ;)
Developer Response
Hey! We hear you - subscriptions aren’t for everyone, but they help us keep improving the application and supporting the team. If you’re running into any issues with access to your files, feel free to reach out to nadya@linearity.io, and we’d be happy to find a personal solution for you.
Linearity Curve 6.11 brings the new Noise Effect, improved SVG import and export, and smoother canvas performance.
NOISE EFFECT
You can now add noise directly from the Style Inspector to bring more texture and depth to your vector work. Choose between Mono, Duo, and Multi modes to control how subtle or expressive the texture feels.
SVG IMPROVEMENTS
We improved SVG import and export for more accurate results and cleaner editing. Gradients are now supported more reliably, imported layers are named more clearly, and text handling has been improved for better font rendering, spacing, and structure.
PERFORMANCE IMPROVEMENTS
This release includes canvas rendering improvements that make editing feel smoother and more responsive. We also improved rendering speed and reliability across common editing workflows, so working in larger or more complex documents feels more stable.
---
We’re continuing to improve Linearity Curve with every release. If you have feedback, questions, or ideas, we’d love to hear from you at support@linearity.io or on Discord.
We’re a small team building Curve every day, and every 5-star review helps us keep improving the product and reach more creators. If Curve has helped you create something meaningful, we’d be incredibly grateful for a rating or review on the App Store.
