Many players floating around the app store hinge upon their names or brands as a way to garner support for the app. In this way, the more well-known apps usually dominate the top 10s of each genre. This app is a hidden gem and needs more recognition for the two following reasons:- simplistic, intuitive design- MPV as backendLets start with the aesthetics. The design is simple and intuitive enough for navigation. Its what you’d honestly expect from a player. The real story here is MPV. MPV is an open-source media player that supports a wide array of codecs. When I say wide I really do mean it supports a lot; this is due to the fact it is open-source. The main takeaway for iOS users is that it leverages what your device has to offer by maximizing the use of the GPU to accelerate and decode your video. What this means is that you’d achieve an accurate representation of what your video should look like as it was encoded. Totally recommend this player as everyone’s standard video player and should be included in everyone’s “my go to apps” kinda stuff. It really is neat and nifty.
nice interface. but lacks customization

I don't really understand how the 'Enhanced Quality' feature works because nothing happens when I turn it on. It would be nice to remove this ambiguity and replace it with standard settings found in most media players, like display customization, audio tweak, etc.. also this doesnt really need to be paywalled doesnt it?
Can’t Manually Import Now Using Files app.
Walmky
Back then, I was able to manually import the video files that I have in this app using the Files app. But now, the folder consisting of the things I imported is nowhere to be seen in the Files app now.And the bad thing is, I’ll have to import the videos through your app now which does duplicates the video that I downloaded which means that double space will be consumed.I do hope that the Outplayer folder shows again in the iPhone files so I could just manually move the videos without using outplayer which saves more space thank u.
Great video player app with some short comings

Pros- Fast and smooth video player. Transitions between files are very fast.- Supports wide video formats.- Easy transfer of files using WiFi local serverCons- Needs library management improvement and QoL- Can’t select all items in library, and there is no gesture to select items — you need to tap individual items to select them, which is bothersome.- Library only has thumbnail view mode. Needs list view if you have so many videos in your library.- Needs customizable subtitle font styles, which should be overridden if the current subtitle has their own styles.Verdict4/5 Overall great video player especially for its price. Can be one of the best video player app if it can improve with some Quality of Life (QoL) updates.
• Added new gesture to take screenshots
• Added option to import videos from photo library
• Updated x-callback-url to pass video info back as query parameters
• Bug fixes and design improvements
