No kidding—I found out about this app’s existence desperately scrolling thru Reddit and the internet using the slow wifi, hidden in the airport bathroom for safety, coz I landed on the airport past midnight, the people in the area were EXTREMELY sketchy, and the wifi stores were closed. It was a legitimate risk if I went out in a new country without data or internet of any kind. This works BEAUTIFULLY. Hassle-free, setup may be a bit scary but the app designers don’t try to make things cool or hip—the guide is CLEAR, useful, and looks great. Godly design. Utilisation—I’ve had no problems with it. You can keep track of how much data you’ve spent. There’s also no “bargain” where you’re tricked on spending more money on more data coz you think “oh if i buy the 20gb, i spend less than if i buy TWO 10gb”. I have a lot of respect for the designers and programmers and everyone involved in this team. God bless you all. You literally saved my life lol.Update: Love your response! I have a small recommendation, if it’s possible—if maybe there’s a guide on “what this amount of GB can be used for”, for example, “1GB = short stopovers, nonintensive use” “10GB = standard travel, messaging, videos, social media use for 2-3 weeks”. For me and my referrals, it seemed to be the most prominent question. Maybe there could be a short guide that could illustrate which options are best for which kinds of travelers.

Easy and convenient

I used to rent roaming pocket wifi which can support multiple users, however it’s quite tedious to get, plus the logistics of claiming and returning. I then just use my roaming data from my local provider which was easy to activate, but the data plans are limited and can be expensive. A bit hesitant, but wanting convenience and early access (data already available when i arrive), i tried eSIM and saw good reviews from Airalo. App is easy to use and provides multiple options fit for my preferences. Price can be competitive, but there are several options fit for budget and need - and i can instantly access via app (and pay via credit card). Country specific eSIM validation was really fast. Instructions for activation and use where also good and easy to follow. I tried it in one of my trip in Asia, purchased and activated in advance, and i immediately have connection upon arrival. Now i have easy access to options for future trips.

Read reviews on Reddit and decided to try it out. And I went for Airalo after reading tons of reviews. So here I am in the US with my Airalo eSim. My wife has her own Airalo account and the experience is superb! From registration to signal to topping up I'd rate it a 5 star experience for me..... Can't wait to try it out in other destinations! My wife and I, had a recent HongKong travel. I’ve check esim app or local sim unfortunately the package from travel tour apps are expensive and less flexible.Seeing the Airalo app, at first i was hesitant because of the signal but purchased and tried it. For our stay in HK, the signal did not even drop, consistent speed. And i was surprised how easy to enable in on my IP14ProM. This will be my go to eSim app that has many flexible and scale of plans. The only issue that my wife wanted to point is is using hotspot, it tends to cut off for several minutes or downtime, I hope this can be fixed and enhanced in future updates. Still highly recommended app.
