the ads are the same size as the whole screen and they PAUSE whatever you’re playing on Spotify or Apple Music so it can play the audio from the ads. So you have to wait for the ad to finish before you can get to using the app. And by then you’ll need to switch apps to replay your music, but when you switch back to this app, A NEW AD WILL POP UP AND IT WILL PAUSE YOUR MUSIC AGAIN. headache!!

Please note that buying the Pro upgrade in-app removes all ads and enables continuous bpm detection without interruption.That being said, I’m aware that ads are a pain (I hate them too) and a major update that will offer a free experience without ads is on the way, I’ll update this comment when it’s available.
