No auto refresh

The idea of the widget is impressive but the deal breaker is you need to open the app to refresh it. I find it useless if you need to do that always, more on aethestics only. I hope it can be a real time widget, i dont mind if we need to purchase it

Theoretically the app and widget will refresh one time every 15~30 minutes according to the limitation of iOS, Apple won’t allow a higher refresh rate. If you found your widget or app refresh far less frequently than that, there are a few things you could check: 1. Whether the low battery mode is on. Widgets won’t refresh when it’s on. 2. Whether Background App Refresh is enabled, for WLAN & Cellular 3. Make sure you are not force killing AllMyBatteries (i.e. don’t remove it from App Switcher screen) 4. Whether the main app is working, if it doesn’t update the battery level, so doesn’t the widget. Additionally, there are more details in the FAQ section in the app, I got some articles about “Why something isn’t up to date” there.
Auto refresh within widget

I’ll glady purchase this if it actually refreshes automatically instead of me opening the app to get the real time percentage of each devices. App doesnt seem to be useful if i cant get a quick glance of my actual battery percentage

Sorry that there might be some issue causing the widget not to update, I'm currently working on a fix. Theoretically the widget will refresh one time every 15~30 minutes according to the restriction of iOS.

If you found your widget or app refreshes far less frequently than that, there are a few things you could check:1. Whether the low battery mode is on. The app and widgets won’t refresh in background when it’s on.2. Whether Background App Refresh is enabled, for WLAN & Cellular3. Whether the main app is working when in foreground, if it doesn’t update the battery level, so doesn’t the widget.5. If your iPhone/iPad has a relatively low battery (less than 50%) or it’s doing heavy load work, the background refresh will be triggered less frequently.6. Tip: If you use the app more often, iOS will likely schedule background updates for the app more frequently.7. Tip: Adding some AllMyBatteries widgets on your device will also help to improve the frequency of updates.Additionally, there are more details in the FAQ section of the app, I got some articles about “Why something isn’t up to date” there.
